No doubt Saddam would have gained nuclear weapons down the road, but when the US invaded none were to be found despite the insistance of Colin Powell to the United Nations. The US jumped the gun when Saddam had nothing. In another five years, his nuclear weapon program would have been started if he still held power, but not in 2003.

I like this one better............."I know that Sadam has WMDs". This is a quote from the president of the United States. However it was made by Mr. Clinton in Feb. of 1998! Not once did he make this statement by twice in the same month.
It seems like they wish to forget what they say and try to shift the blame on others.
