If 100,000 troops were redeployed to Afghanistan and Pakistan, would US have a better chance of getting Osama?

we only have 20,000 troops in Afghanistan, where bin Laden is training the Taliban,, they have regained control there and on the Pakistan border where Osama is predicted to be,, why can't the US go get his butt?

We don't have troops in Pakistan because Pakistan is a soverign country and has not invited us in. They cannot because the administration in Pakistan is hanging on by a thread and Pres. Musharrif has had about 6 assassination attempts on himself. If Pakistan falls to the Taliban there's going to be a real problem because Pakistan has nukes and you know that they'll smuggle one into Iraq or Israel. If one goes off in Israel, the Irralies will nuke the entire Middle East. Get the picture?

Besides, I think Bin Laden has gone into the gardening business as a soil additive. Did you see the photos taken from a Predator Drone of hundreds of Al Queida fighters attending a funeral a few months ago? Why would so many of those killer attend a funeral if it's wasn't for their Mac Daddy? His subordinates keep making tapes but Osama Bin Buttplug is pushing up poppies.

Osama is probably dead. They have not gained control of that country yet though you are right, we need alot more troops in afghanistan and Iraq. If we are going to stay and fight we need to do it all the way not half way where will sustain more casualties. Thats the only reason we have lost so many in Iraq, we should have had alot more armor and infantry troops.

Why hasn't the bright minded knowledgeable Bush and his cronies figure that out? The US forces should have all been sent to Afghanistan and try to capture Osama, who really was supposed to have masterminded the 9/11. Then we would not be bogged down in Iraq.

I would say yes but I can't guarantee if they can get him. Osama is one sick weirdo. He have failed. He killed thousands of lives. We can only hope or pray that our troops would come home and spend with their friends or families. I don't want the government officials pass the problem to us, the younger generation, to finish the job of finding Osama. Only God knows where he is. Osama didn't took lives on 9/11 and war on terrorism but he also took lives of innocent Afghanistan children to be brainwashed to terrorize America. We can only hope and pray.

I do not think that getting Osama is about the number of troops deplored in those areas but rather, on the intelligence network.

I would pull everyone back and then nuke both countries. Enough with this "heart and minds" garbage. If you go to war, you go to win and you use ALL the weapons you have. We could wipe out the Taliban with biological weapons tomorrow if the public had the appetite for it.

BTW, Bin Laden could be hiding in with Charez down south.

i think of that he will redeploy them in Afghanistan (the place they'd desire to have been all alongside). He suggested final nighttime that NATO troops might extra suitable than possibly flow into Kosovo to guard it because of the fact such as you suggested many countries have known Kosovo. we does no longer would desire to deliver each and all of the try against troops to Afghanistan because of the fact they have NATO troops there besides.
