The question should be can you be a Christian and support U.S. policies.

"Christianity neither is nor ever was part of the common law." Thomas Jefferson. That being the case, I would think that there is nothing preventing a Christian from voting as his conscience directs, as should all U.S. citizens. Theodore Roosevelt wrote in 1912 that "To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the president, right or wrong, is not only un-patriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public." I was a Nam Era vet who retired at the end of Desert Storm, we had a saying back in the 60s "My country right or wrong, if it's right to keep it right, if it's wrong, to make it right." I see nothing wrong with that sentiment, or the civil protest it enjoins if we believe our leadership has made a mistake. I've lived my life by it, and it's how I raised my daughter, who is currently on active duty in the military, making her the 7th in a row of our family to serve in one branch or another.

Unfortunately I believe that most of the US's policies are against Christianity, than are for them. This world is becoming more and more confusing, all one can do is to continue to read the Bible, stay close to Christian friends, and just live life as best as possible. I don't believe things are going to get better any time soon, but YOUR attitude can change things around you!!

There is no correlation between being American and being a Christian.A Christian lives by the teachings of Christ.Love thy neighbor as thy self and the beatitudes.Support of Israel has nothing to do with Christianity.Israel is not a Christian nation they live by the teachings of Moses which is contrary to the teachings of Christ.

Did Jesus ask us to kill people in his name?

If you are a christian:
Pray to God to forgive the crimes of the state of Israel
pray for US government not to strike Iran and spend money
for charities not weapons.

2000 years ago someone said "blessed are the peacemakers"
Do you know him? Do you know what happened to him?

You can definately be a Christian and not agree with every decision made by the government but with that in mind God will protect the state of Isreal and we should stand with them. It is Biblical.
