Do you think it is right playing these tapes of the tragic deaths of 9/11 over and over again for the people that lost loved ones? I didnt lose anyone in the tragic event, and it still upsets me. It would be like watching how my husband died in a horrible car accident over and over again, and you can't get past it because it keeps getting replayed. Anyone have any lost loved ones, and how do you feel about seeing it replayed and talked about so much?

are women an asset or a liability whilst fighting alongside fronline troops ?
can they endure the same pressures and trauma as their male colleagues, and are they more fearfull of the possible consequences should they be taken prisoner,i personally think it is a bad idea and places them in greater danger than other personnel, they can still act as a supporting role by going into defence rather than attack, i am NOT saying they are not capable and able to do the job so please do not think i am being sexist

We our leaders we hear that "We're winning the war on terror in Iraq." From others, "We're bogged down in a winnless quagmire and should pull out." For those glorious soldiers who have served in Iraq. Assuming that "winning" means Iraq's goverment is able to survive on it's own. A) Are we winning in Iraq? B) If not, what needs to be done to win? or should we count our losses and bring everyone home if Iraq is unwinnable? (Responders: This is not about whether we should have or should have not invaded Iraq, we're there so what do we do now?)

Why should any country let some scumbag Murdering Terrorist just clam up when interrorgated.
We should be able to use some kind of torture on them to extract this information from them.
Such torture was used in Pakistan on one of these scumbags just recently which revealed vital lifesaving information to our goverments which definately save hundreds if not thousands of innocent lives. This information resulted in the recent arrests of unknown british muslims around the UK who cannot murder again.
The pakistani spokesman was quoted as saying..
The terrorist which was questioned by us using their methods VERY quickly gave information.
F^^^% Human rights it actually protects the terrorist more than it does us!!

I'm American, live in a foreign country for 10 years and spent some time working with the US Air Force that has a small installation near here.

Why is it that 80% of the people who are sent here refuse to learn any of the local language or culture and spend their days either with other Americans or at their own homes?
They don't see the host country, unless it is with a tour group of others like them.
They don't make an effort to mingle with the locals and for the most part they act like they're superior to the locals.

Why sign up for the military?
You won't get to stay in Podunk, USA. You might have to leave.

Those Americans who are here represent the USA, and I'm embarassed for them--leaving beer cans in the front yards, toys scattered all over walkways, getting drunk and arrogant in bars

So, why do it? Why come here and complain? Don't sign up. Stay in Podunk, shop at Walmart, eat Taco Bell and carry Big Gulps.

Or try to enjoy your stay here....
