Why should any country let some scumbag Murdering Terrorist just clam up when interrorgated.
We should be able to use some kind of torture on them to extract this information from them.
Such torture was used in Pakistan on one of these scumbags just recently which revealed vital lifesaving information to our goverments which definately save hundreds if not thousands of innocent lives. This information resulted in the recent arrests of unknown british muslims around the UK who cannot murder again.
The pakistani spokesman was quoted as saying..
The terrorist which was questioned by us using their methods VERY quickly gave information.
F^^^% Human rights it actually protects the terrorist more than it does us!!

I feel terrorist loose the right to human rights the minute they commit their evil acts. What they do is inhumane.Did they give their victims any rights? No. Enough said.

America is not pro human rights and has guantamano bay.
MI5 tortured the Guildford 4 and Birmingham 6, which is how they extracted fake 'confessions'; while at the same time they knew who the real terrorists were because they had a high ranking mole in the IRA.
People just talk under torture to make it stop. If they're innocent they get found guilty.
You think its ok because you think it'll never happen to you.

What? Are you CRAZY!!!???? 'Terrorists' as you call them are human beings just as much as you are. They aren't any different. Torture is inhuman and just plain cruel. Why do you think we became independent from Britain? The US separated so that people could celebrate their own religion and not be tortured and killed for it. These peoples views are much different from our own and they shouldn't be tortured because of it. If they want to remain silent then let them. Torture will only worsen our problem.
Oh by the way, where do you think we should build that torture chamber? Somewhere between the White House and the Jefferson Memorial. No No, better yet, lets build underneath the Declaration of Independence. Do you think that fits?
These 'terrorists' are people no matter what the media and government is trying to make you believe, they are people and torture isn't going to help, so, no, we shouldn't 'pull out of the human rights'.

Does this also mean perceived (and presumed) 'terrorists' who look a wee bit 'dodgy' - id est; mother tongue Arabic, etc. Did we not go down this road in the 70's with internment and false imprisonment of Northern Irish folk. some indeed were guilty...but there were a great deal innocent (and they have the compensation to prove it...and some do not).

i wouldnt want to give them shelter, basically they must be shot on the spot. Save us tax payers some money at least. I was told once, (and I disagree,) that Hitler had the right idea, just the wrong race. I wonder how many people out there would agree wholeheartedly with this statement?

No we should get them to agree to test the products we are on animals at the moment. Pay their debt back to society. Like your point but this is a far better idea. We didn't have animal testing in the old days. Stick them in with the paedophiles

The problem is would the torture chambers be equal opportunity where we committ ourselves when we are guilty of acts of terrorism
such as the invasion of Iraq or as in the case of Israel in Lebanon - clearly state-terrorism.

Governments just need to keep covert operations quiet, no press, journalist, etc., and do what they have to do. The public doesn't need to know about it. When we wake up and there are no more terrorist, and the world is safer, then we know our covert intel services did the right thing.

Define terrorist?
If you do that you will open the door to allow people who have a different political view to you but don't commit acts of violence to be called terrorists. Should they be tortured?
How about all Jewish people get called terrorists? Its not far off what Hitler did.

It is stupid to pull out of human rights as you say.
Torture is taking place, and Britain still pretends to follow human rights; that's like having your cake and eating it too.
So why restrict to just having your cake?
The fun will really begin when the use of torture seeps into society, when the definition of 'terrorist' becomes more and more blurred. when it's someone you know who gets it...
