For some it is hard and makes it hard to get past. Others use it as a part of the grieving process. My aunt was in the north tower and her office was directly hit by the plane. Although she was on another floor completely and made it out ok I still can not watch the footage because I know had it been one hour later she wouldn't have made it out. For myself I am glad that they are making the movies and things but right now I can not watch them, I'm just not there yet although it will be the 5 year aniversary tomorrow. Will I ever be ready, I don't know but I do find solitude that the movies are there for me if I want to see them. But really with anything in life it all depends on the single person and how they manage it.

I totally think that it is too soon to be playing these tapes. 9/11 was only 5 years ago, and we are still in the midst of finding Osama. There is no way that I could see these films, and I didn't lose anyone either. I would think that the widows/ widowers would have terrible trouble recapping this event that they are trying to forget.

As difficult as it is we Americans most continually be reminded, by whatever means, of 9/11. I lost an older son to murder, while my two younger boys served with honor in the first Gulf War.
I can barely speak about my murdered son without breaking down. Yet if he had died because of the 9/11 attack I would want America never to forget why we are now at war with the terrorists, regardless of the pain to me. Thank you and your husband for carrying on the Struggle to keep us safe. (I read your 360)

My name is Parker H. Smock, I am the writer of: Pennsylvania-The Holy Experiment that did not Work-Which Became-The Real 9/11 Story. President Bush took my book door to door in Pennsylvania as I requested.
Before 9/11 I was portrayed by an African/America actor in a movie called Trial & Error made for TV. I was portrayed in many federal input to Hollywood TV episodes of Sliders, one Babylon 5, and Star Trek: Voyager episode Bliss as I requested TV episodes and the media.
The terrorist stole my document "Pennsylvania-The Holy Experiment that did not Work off the Internet posted for me by a world trade protestor and used it for stupid psychological warfare.
Now I am portrayed by Nicholas Cage in National Treasure movie a government input to Hollywood movie about 9/11 that I desperately try to make some good of this.
A woman that lost her grandmother in 9/11 came to Binghamton where I live and outright rescued me from my horror story. I was her hero and I was so proud of that fine woman for what she did for me.
I think the people deserve the truth like US Senator Kerry once said so hatred for country can finally be abolished and the victim families and those in heaven already know my name.
I beleive the families would like others to know the truth for their comfort of others, and evrything will be alright one day.
You may receive my book for free by E-Mailing me at psmock1@stny.rr.com. "Parker" as per The History Channel
Thank You.

Probably they are hard for me to deal with and I lost no one I know other than a large number of my countrymen. 9/11 has bothered me since it happen. You grow up hearing and reading about the "Great Generation" and about Pearl Harbor and you hope your generation never has too experience it. Then 9/11
happen and it turns out we may not be as great dedicated and capable as our Grandfathers were, and it makes me sad. When I think of 9/11 I think of America Dying. It makes me sad.

Air stress One, Flight fifty seven, Flightplan, pink Eye, airplane, Six Days Seven Nights, Passenger fifty seven, government decision, Die stressful 2, Con Air, Airport, very final holiday spot, Castaway, Turbulence.... those could be in very undesirable flavor for a action picture on a airplane.

I think it is hard for many families to watch the 9/11 stuff..just like it is hard for them to get on with their lives..... anytime you lose a loved one it is hard... but so mass a loss is unbelievalbly hard.... as a nation we need to rememeber why we are in this war and support our troops there.... so all the movies and specials help to keep what America is fighting for...So manu criticize our government for doing what is hard to do... protect our country.... it would be a hard job... one I wouldn;t want to be in charge of...

I'm sure it is hard to deal with. But it is an unfortunate part of life that happens everyday. Worldwide when tragedys happen they are reported on and analized for years in the public eye. The same with all these murderers. In that respect it makes their situation no different than anyone elses.

From what I have heard most families are pleased with the showing of these such films. They want to know that this terrible event is NEVER FORGOTTEN. I personally would not want to relive it. I would morn my lost and move on. But many persons are different it comes a time when one must move on I have to agree with you/your example. take care
