The USA is the best equipped and the most powerful. The Insurgents are just rag tag so how come American troops are getting killed?

and the iraqi patriots like anyother human donot like to invaded by others....so they killed them

Just because the USA is the best equipped and most powerful does not mean people cant get killed. Even in a non wartime environment, soliders die! The mlitary continues to train and prepare themselves and sometime unanticipated events happen and people die. It can happen from mechanical problems or human error.
As long as rag tag enemies exist, people not only soliders are going to die. Not even the US military can forsee every situation that our enemy can initiate.

Guerilla Warfare Sir. Same reason why we got messed up in Vietnam. Ho Chi Minh tricked Gen Westmoreland. He used conventional, then switched to Guerilla.

Because we are limited in the ways we can fight them. We have to follow the Geneva Convention's rules. They do not fight by our rules and there is very little we can do about it, they take advantage of the fact that we can only fight using conventional and lawful ways. (and I am not speaking for those who break te rules)

Because US troops are mortal and can die. One man with a gun can always kill another man with a gun.
And because of the rules of war we are not allowed just to level an ememy city.
