I can't help but think that the Iraq conflict was only started to secure oil supply, so that the US didn't have to touch its own 'meagre' allowance of oil.

I know that you sign your life away when you join the military, but I have seen some things that in the regular world that would against the federal law. Where can I find out what rights are given to active duty military members? It seems that everyone I ask tells me that they don't exist and you don't even own yourself until you get out. All I want to do is bring it up in discussion to the work place to make sure that our people are treated fairly and that there is no abuse of their people.

His wife (civilian) has currently started having alot of severe nightmares and wakes up in a panic, she does this a few times a week, and hes starting to lose sleep over the ordeal, and he was asking me if there was anyway he could get a discharge over this, hes thinking of having her see a few dotors, but if that doesn't help, and the problem persists could he be eligible for a discharge? Thanks...

Can you also tell me how you know all of this information? Reading answers to military questions, it seems as though people who have never served have all kinds of answers. Just let me know where you get your info so I can have as much knowledge as you. I know there is a question mark at the end and it is a statement. Yahoo leaves the question mark.

I am resolved to leave a cushy job and future to join the ARMY in hopes of being a Ranger. This is a much better future than being a lame *** tax payer. I am 29 and in good shape training as hard as possible to join by March 2007- two months before my 30th birthday. By this time I will have completed the 15 college credits + GED requirement for education- and hopefully passed the ASVAB with good standing. Any advice out there?

Thx and hooah.

My favorites are:

1. A-10 Thunderbolt - Massive machine cannon with an airplane built around it, flies low and can be hit by missiles without crashing. Has a ton of cannon ammo.

2. Su-47 - Evasive maneuvers escapes missiles, weird wing design, and is in the experimental stage so it isn't used for war yet.

3. F-15 Eagle - This is a well-rounded jet and has many derivatives.

Through resent information, notified that my husbands VA benefits have been modified to escape taking care of my husband who is a veteran of the Viet Nam War. No money for the vets, but plenty of money for the Mexican illegals, like food stamp, medicaid, all welfare benefits.Feel the urge to write our Mr. Bush,(who loves his vets) and do allot of complaining!!

I know people who struggle finding employment after 20 + years...infantry, artilliery, rangers, Special Forces. Those fields rarely get the opportunity to pursue a degree while still in the military. Admins, medics, & officers have got made compared to the soldiers on the front line.
