I am in the Air Force and I am always debating with my friend who is in the Navy. I thought our latest "competition" would be well answered here:

Women - Which do you prefer, a man in the Air Force or the Navy? Nevermind that the Navy is essentialy a floating gay joke and they all have their names written on the a*s of their pants.

Men - Who's cooler: fly boys or seamen? (haha)

Are you with the Israel, or the Lebanon?

My point of view: I'm with Israel and I think they should go and kick Lebanon's *** for sure.

Examples: brownies, cookies, breads, etc. Yes I know the weather is in the 110s, but I read stories that people were sending homemade bake goods to Iraq to the soldiers.

During basic training, the guys in my outfit were constantly fed beans, beans and more beans (musical fruit). then the Sargeant would take us out on patrol and train us for combat.

We would low crawl and go from tree to tree trying to sneak up on the enemy.

How the hell is a contingent of 5,000 ground troops going to sneak up on the enemy when they have just had a plate of beans?

I thought Beethovan had joined my outfit...!

Do you have a story of how ridiculous the military can be, to share with the folks on yahoo answers, to help me prove my point????

Citizens who have dual citizenship are being evacuated from Lebanon and are not happy with officials. Officials contacted dual citizens - most who had abandoned Canada or USA for 10 years or more, telling them when and where to meet their evacuation ships. People were complaining that the government should pay for their cab fare to their destination point and that the government took too long to come and get them and that the government did not provide proper evacuation supplies to them. They are being provided with free healthcare, welfare and housing. What about the people who do not have dual citizenship and cannot leave. This also happens everyday in some war torn African countries and many of the citizens do not have dual citizenship with any other country and no economic means to leave - hundreds die everyday. Is this complaint fair or should they be grateful that they had the means to get out. Grateful tax paying citizens living in US and Canada will pay to help them.

I am making the switch from USAF to the Army. I got all the paper work ready to go up the chain of command and I got all my ASVAB scores converted to Army terms (they look a lot better the Army way). I am hoping to become a Internment/Resettlement Specialist (31E), basically a Corrections Officer. If there is anyone that is/has been in this carrer let me know what you thought of it.

Why stop at a 10 mile buffer zone.?
March right into Beirut and wipe the Hezbollah's (and take those Hamas to) and wipe them right off the face of the earth. As long as they are allowed to live. There will never be peace in the Middle East.

In Erich Maria Remarque's "All Quiet on the Western Front", it is suggested that war is never a solution, and is simply the antithesis to humanity. However, culture in the United States and elsewhere continuously glorifies war as an avenue to freedom, glory, and honor. Does the end justify the means?

Are they pretty good in street fighting? Pretty quick and strong? Grappling training? Martial arts training? Boxing? How about handling weapons like swords, knives, chinese stars, spears, etc. I was just curious to know the type of training. I am not making any judgements or assumptions with this question. Just an innocent question. I am an adult from the U.S. myself.
