War is dehumanization of man because it involves mass killings to solve disputes that are supposed to be settled amicably. It is the use of arms to demand issues or pursue aspirations in exchange of human lives.

about what war? there have been many ars in history. You'd have to go really f back to see a time in history at which point there had not yet been a war that affected some amount of good on the world.

I assume you mean the present chaotic situation in the Middle-east. It is poorly managed as far as the command structure, it is seems that we are chasing our own tail. We have little control over the territory and from my own experiences in Vietnam, the local officials work against us as much as with us. The supply of weapons is another point, if so many countries are against the war, then where are the weapons and munitions coming from? At one point it was rumored that England was a supplier but after one of Blair's trips to the US, those rumors dried up??? In Malaysia, there was a communist uprising and the British quelled that by imposing strict curfews, Identification checks and other rather harsh measures...but it stopped the wanton slaughter of soldiers and innocent people. The US tries to follow a policy of winning hearts and minds by worthless aid (that never accomplishes the real purpose of the program), lenient treatment of suspects, and gross stupidity of the soldiers that have the power both to degrade prisoners, rape and murder civilians. What is happening to the 'thinking' GI that only months before were walking the streets of your home town. It is morbid to think that America has fallen so low that we have to resort to such bestial treatment of people. War is never nice but during previous wars, (WW I, WW II and the Korean Conflict) the soldiers were held in check by the UCMJ (Uniform Code of Military Justice) that provided harsh punishment but today or really during the Vietnam Era, soldiers learned that they could do many things and get off with a slap on the wrist...if that! Look at Mei Lai massacre. The law and the command have lost the teeth..how many people sit on 'death' row as we debate the rightness of taking their lives. This sends a message to the world. It means that we make laws and support a central government but find ways to make the laws fit our present need. In American bases on some of the Pacific Islands, local women were raped, the US service men was convicted...and sent home to what??? Why not allow them to be tried by the local authorities? The war is costing us a lot...loss of other nations' respect and the overall feeling that we are doing it only for economic advantage of the oil. In China, people generally dislike Bush because he is trying to become king of the world.

I support the war in Iraq, It would help them[Iraqis} out big time. We should have more troops there so we'll have more security, but the only negative is the Iraqis because thay Are dieing from accidental fire from us and mostly Insurgents that invaded Iraq to kill Americans and Iraqi Civs, But some Iraqis Are Taking Arms and attaching us for money to support their Family's.
I am saddened for the small amount of Americans Who died For democracy and Iraq, But they are heroes.

We should be at war right now, but we should get out of Iraq as soon as possible. Because we went to Iraq, we are less likely to go to other foreign threats such as Iran and North Korea. We can't sit back and do nothing, but we need to focus our effort where it is most needed, and, right now, it is not in Iraq.

I think we are being too nice. We try not to make any enemies and do the right thing for everybody. I think we need to start trying to win instead of trying to be friends. It was one of Clinton's "friends" that took out our twins. We taught them how to fly!!
