Why stop at a 10 mile buffer zone.?
March right into Beirut and wipe the Hezbollah's (and take those Hamas to) and wipe them right off the face of the earth. As long as they are allowed to live. There will never be peace in the Middle East.

Israel has a lot more to worry about than just Hezbollah. You can bet they're keeping one eye on Lebanon and the problem there, but also a wary eye on Syria and Iran. Be assured that Israel has not committed the lion's share of it's military resources to eradicating Hezbollah, that it is saving for the possibility of facing off with Syria and Iran.
The arabs certainly started this Lebanon skirmish, and they did so by drawing Israel into this battle . This surprises me, but I'll bet Israel realizes it, too. I doubt that Israel will allow itself to be so easily led, in the future. The arabs had the advantage, but I believe they have run out of chess pieces to play, and now it's Israels turn.
To answer your second question regarding the complete destruction of Hezbollah and Ha mas. I believe that Israel is playing this one close to the vest. It is not over committing it's resources by chasing these guys all over the landscape. It is keeping it's troops and heavy equipment within reach of its own borders in the event these other guys decide to join the fray.
In essence, Israel is taking an offensive posture, but staying mindful of it's own borders in the event they need further defenses.

Because the cowardly Arabs will start crying and whining like little girls (i.e. '48, '56, '67, '73) and countries with morons for leaders will make them stop....

They don't want to kill civilians, Sadly, the terrorists hide out and attack from civilian homes and buildings. Apparently it doesn't bother them.
