I am making the switch from USAF to the Army. I got all the paper work ready to go up the chain of command and I got all my ASVAB scores converted to Army terms (they look a lot better the Army way). I am hoping to become a Internment/Resettlement Specialist (31E), basically a Corrections Officer. If there is anyone that is/has been in this carrer let me know what you thought of it.

The Blue to Green is a program that was put into place because the AF and Navy needs to get rid of people and the Army needs people. So with this I am basically doing nothing more then taking off and AF uniform one day and putting on an Army one the next day. I keep my rank as SSgt (Army I will be a Sgt, same thing though) and if you AFSC matches the Army MOS you will do the same job....mine doesnt match so I can pick anything.
After all the paper work you go to a 4 week course to learn how to become a soldier you go to you AIT (job training) then head to your first duty section.
