Military - June 2006

The U S withdrew from Vietnam because the public opinion were aware The US were commiting crimes against civilians and refugees.
It also contaminated half the agricultural land in Vietnam with agent ornage just before withdrawing therefore denying Vietnam any chances of success. It is estimated that one million Vietnamese died
because of this contamination on a span of 25 years and countless people were born with malformations.

Should the US compensate Vietnam for War Crimes ? Did it ever compensate?

Tell me what are the chances the US really compensate for the destruction of Iran and Iraq? Will it compensate Iraqi and Afghans for the wronful death The US policies caused ?

We are PCSing to Okinawa in Oct and have been told by other AF families that our dog should be on our orders. The problem we are having is that when my hubby went to hand in the paperwork so we can get our orders they told him they don't put pets on there. I don't understand whats going on because I know AF people who have had their pets on their orders, but they wont do it for us. Anyone know how we can get our dog on the orders????

People can join the military, where they could get shot at, bombed, gas'd, kidnapped, and tortuted. They will, more than likley, be separated from family and loved one for months on end. Yet, they are not deemed mature enough to drink alcohol in a lot of states.

When I'm a marine and get sent to iraq I want to get my squad buddies to chip in to buy a camel then load him up on creatine and crap to muscle him up and excercise him buy leading him around with a humvee. I just recently (as in 5 seconds ago) started thinking about Speech Pathology as a career. Before that (5 seconds ago) I was certain that I wanted to do Health Care Administration. But I also plan to join the Air Force and I know that I can do the Health Care in the USAF. But are there oppurtunities for speech pathologists in the Air Force??? Please help!

Causing civil wars or having people massacring each other is not defined as a war crime or as a direct genocide. regardless if 6-8 million people dies because of the US action inst it noneless a genocide and a crime against humanity?

I think Bush is having war against Islamic politico socio economic system, one who they want to live with honour are called Al-qaida or Taliban and traitors who they dance for Amecian polices are Muslims. Do Americans have right to attack on our religion? How can they decide right and wrong for Islam? They use media to present bad picture of Isalm's politico socio economics sytem. They make minds against Islam but in reality Muslims are living happily in thier countries with Islam.
