It was locked to a bike stand. It looks like someone cut my cable-lock with something quite substantial - while I was in Sainsburys for 15 mins.
The policeman I reported it to said, if I see it, call 999.
However I'm sure there are more interesting things I could do...

At an electronics retail store, purchased a computer bag, wanted to know how it would fit 2 small computers, placed 2 iPods (enclosed in a plastic theft proof prevention box, which is about the same size as a small computer) which I was going to purchase in the 1st place, went to the sales associate to ask if they had the iPods in black (which took them forever to comeback), they said 'No.', I walked back over to where I left the cart, placed an iPod that I was looking at back on the shelf (totally forgot about the other two in the bag), went to purchase the bag, walked outside, and their loss prevention staff stopped me and told me what had happened. I admitted nothing. I had enough funds in my gift certificate to purchase it all. Very embarassing, am a major contributor to the community, own a mortgage lending company, have a party rental company, and have an e-commerse business. I could lose it all if I don't wipe this off. I plan to plea not guilty, & hopefully appeal to the jury.

What threat do they pose? It makes sense that if Khalib AlRauf Quereshi or Mohammad Sheik AlKhalid is pulled aside, but why is Bill Jones or John Smith. If history serves us right, there is a 99.99% chance that if a terrorist attack is going to happen on an aircarft, it is going to be orcestrated by an Extremist Muslim. Stop wasting my my time and other American citizens time by pulling us aside. Who is more likely to be terrorist? Let's use our common sense America.

Since he knew details of the crime no one knew but the killer, is that proof positive he did it?

Or does he know who really did kill her and corresponded with them to get those details?

And do police cars in California go faster than those in other states (I heard some california highway patrol cars are mustangs, that's why I'm curious)?

I got my first ticket, and I was speeding and intend to pay the fine, but I am curious as to what the method of determining my speed was. I was traveling East, and the only officer I saw was traveling West. There was not a "speed trap" per se.

I understand that there are some exemptions, such as lorry drivers etc. Do the police have this exemption? Have seen numerous that don't wear them.
Also seen them on the radio, yet we can't use mobiles!
Anyone know the ruling on this?

So I've had a notice put on my garage door saying the police need to have a look in it to eliminate me from their enquiries (it's on all my neighbors garages too).

Now I've nothing to hide, all that's in my garage is a pushbike and some old tables and junk, but out of curiousity can they actually demand that I let them look through it without a warrant?

And does anyone know what this is about? If they think someone is making bombs/drugs in their garage surely telling them you are coming at their convenience defies the whole point of the search! Anyone have any idea what this little search is meant to achieve?
