Don't get me wrong...I am ALL FOR the idea of "If you don't like it, change the station", but I have a question about the FCC and their rules. I listen to rock stations and they have to strickly watch what they say in order to comply with the FCC and not offend anyone. The problem is...my grandmother listens to this christian station every morning and they are constantly gay-bashing and making remarks about it being a sin to mix races. I find these comments EXTREMELY offensive. My question is: if the rock/pop/rap stations cannot make gay or racist remarks then why on earth is it okay for the christian stations to do so? Can I file a complaint? Again...I do not listen to this station because I find the things that they say to be offensive, but if the stations that I listen to must be edited then I believe that rule should apply to ALL stations.

me and my ex went 2 court back in aug/07 4 child support and he was ordered 2 pay 562 a month starting 09/07 for our 2 children, the court also added back pay of 2500 b/c he stopped supporting the kids in march/07. He has yet 2 pay anything so we now have 2 go back 2 court in feb/08. do u know what will happen, will he go 2 jail or will the judge give him a certain time 2 find a job. btw in texas and 4 those who think I am wishing he go 2 jail I don't I just want some help with our children, I work a full-time job and pretty much my income goes to child care so that I can work. thanks

we were all English 11 of us but now 2 an we have been treated badly but wont leave? his race of people only employed 2month ago don't speak English an they have been given the work? the other English have been employed 2years? this must be wrong an racist? they tried to get rid of me before but i fought an won as i was judged by some1 elses work an some1 elses time off it was proven an ever since hehs had it in 4 me,we were all English but they were treated so unethically they gave up the ghost an left, you would not believe the treatment that has been injured an swallowed as i need this job that could be done standing on your head? but as i am a single mother an took the cleaning job as cash is cash it was in another contractors hands who gave me allowances 4school holidays but this 1 has not even reged my contract an dont tell me or other lady if were not working to standard even though were working better then the other he just sends us warning letters without the verbal warning?

After all you can smoke in your own home (so far anyway the way this nanny state is heading) my point is in your own home you have the say over what goes on, who comes in, smoking or not smoking etc. A publican can refuse entry to anyone they please without reason so is there a way round the ban. ie publicans deciding that they will or wont allow smoking in their home(the pub)

I was stopped for speeding on the motorway, the PC told me i would recieve a letter giving me the chance to plead guilty or not, it will also tell me if i need to appear in court with the possible sentence being a driving ban.
am i still legally alowed to drive untill i recieve this letter?

i hired a contractor in wv. to fix my house, he has a licenes, and i got a contract, stating that all work was guarnteed for a year,they started messing up the materials then quit working. i called to have a meeting, they refused,i have paid over 8 thousand for a job that should have been 4,and every thing is gone i contacted the attorney general office in charleston,wv and they tried to meditate with no luck. please give me some ideas.thank you for any help.

I mean who's gonna tell you how long to leave the lights on, how many lamps to have in your house, how many to have on? Do they really last that long, don't they require much more components than regular ones and are they not more costly to make? Plus some are dangerous, and they aren't even useful for turning them on for a few seconds like when you just walk into a room.

I work in a major pharmacy bnft management company. I am basically a supervisor for a team of reps who schedule patient orders and work as pharmacy techs. I am ha rd working, honest and loyal. I have been w/ the company as a rep for 4 years and a supervisor for 1 year. Problem is my boss is a total jerk. He has it out for me an d I don't know why. My colleague is his pet and he thinks she is the best employee althought she is a maniacal dictator--He is the same. He makes comments to my other colleagus saying I am too "soft" and I cannot handle my job. He's mad because I am not some bitchy tyrant and I don't treat my team like machines and I treat them like people (to sum it up in nutshell) anyway he is looking for things to try to get rid of me and he told one of my co-workers that! What do I do? To top it off this jerk is also a politician! So he thinks he 's super slick! Anyway how can I get back? All i want to do is do my job and get this asshole off my back! HE is an unethical f*&^

I sent an email to my boss telling her I was resigning. At first my boss told me she had informed her taxman to stop payment to me after the two week notice period..., but then she immediately asked me to reconsider, to not hand in my letter of resignation and to continue working for her. So, I decided not to resign and went back to work as though nothing had happened. What happened to my contract? Did I continue working under the same contract, or did I continue working with no contract?

a person in our family has four children, now her children have all grown up, they are in their teens and early 30's. Her children have done well for themselves, however when her children where young her husband refused to go out there and support his wife and kids.
So this person in our family did what she thought was best and went to the agency that helps women/mother's --- and claimed that her husband did not live with her..BUT he was living with her just that all his mail was being diverted to his mom's house in order to validate the lie that he did not live with her. They never caught on to her scheme..however..She for many years recieved compensation from 'mother's allowance' and was able to pay rent and get money for her bills.
Now do you call this stealing and why has karma not got back at her..since it seems that she got away with this kind of fraud..does this mean that God has forgiveness because it was an act that was done in order
to support her kids?

I own neither website and the material I have contributed to the former is all my own work. As the sole author, am I allowed to use my own work as I see fit or is the owner of the website the article appears on entitled to restrict me from having the article posted on another website because it has now become his property as part of the website? The work was done on a voluntary basis and was not specifically requested by him.

HI,
I made a purchase the other day with my card and I had plenty of money for the purchase. However, it turns out that for some reason the transaction for the purchase I had made in the store was delayed and took the money out of my account two days later. By this time I had done the rest of my christmas shopping and therefore had no money in my account.
I made the purchase when I had money in my account! Why am I getting charged a fee by the bank!? Can I dispute it with the bank?

a man came to my work yesterday with a prospective client, his friend.(i work in a supported housing unit)..while my collegue left the room the man got out his camera and said 'i'll just get a picture of you there while you are sat at the desk'..He took a photo of me on the camera he produced from his jacket pocket...We were in the staff office and had been chatting about the supported living unit for about half an hour. the man had brought his friend to look around the house i work as a support worker in, with a view to his friend moving in..
The man said the photo was for the prospective client (his friend)'s mum...he said.

Do you think that this is odd..him taking a photo of me??
