Start polishing the resume and bail. It'll only get worse if you stay around.

You have to treat the problem as a professional one and not an emotional one. Your boss is probably the anti-christ and deserves to spend eternity in the firey pits of hell. Lets get past that. He is wrong and you are right. You have to get past that too. The issue here is about winning and losing, not being right or wrong.
To win you have to smile and not skip a beat no matter what awful thing they say or do. Do your job well and do it by being yourself. Don't let them get to you. I see some people are posting you should just quit and move on and that is an option that is always open to you. It's just a job and you just have to do the best you can. You have to float through, bide your time and things may calm down. It certainly isn't your fault that things are going badly so just keep being your kind self. Some times no matter what you do things don't work out and that isn't your fault. You can't make chicken soup from chicken poop.

i do no longer understand if going back for 2 weeks could influence your means to collect UI, yet whilst i've got been you, and it is coming from experience, i say do no longer sweat being fired. It occurs to the suitable people. the suitable factor which you will do is to sit down down back, relax for a minute, get your head at the same time, record for UI, and initiate amassing. Then get out and seek for something new. in the experience that your boss's spouse is being that paranoid (stupid b---h), then that's probably suitable in case you no longer bypass back there anymore. and you incredibly shouldn't take this co-employees suggestion except you get it at present from the horse's mouth. A co-worker could have it in for you and is probably devising some style of plan to make you look a poultry with its head shrink off and have you ever working scared and out of your ideas over something it is definitely none of his business company!

Go to the human resources department and file a complaint. I would make something up that would have the company questioning him. I would say he touched you inappropriately by putting his hand on your knee or something. The guy will still hate you, but will be forced to worry about what he does to you or around you, or will be disallowed to deal with you all together. I know it sounds dishonest, but you have to play the game. Trust me, if he wants to fire you, they will think up any way possible to do so. Even if you're 5 minutes late, they will use it against you. You're going to have to watch every step you make. That is the only way you will win.

Do it the American way! That is to say stop living one day at a time and start living for 10 years down the road. Look at where you want to be in ten years and set goals to get there. It probably isn't where you currently are either. Perhaps it's time to start your own biz, make your own rules, and do it your way by being your own boss. This is what makes Americans FREE.

sounds like too much drama and problems with too many people around you...
find a headhunter get a job in another city or in a related industry you are qualifed to do...
and next time try and not get emotionally involved at work or develop useless opinions that do you no good or anyone else in creating a positive environment to work in..
or hang in there and work outside of the office to get counseling to help you stop dwelling on interpersonal issues that ruin self esteem and cause you to complain about work on a Sunday
any job that after you punch the clock and leave..should be a job where you leave that type of baggage at the time clock..your non-work life doesn't deserve to be brought down
too

Find a new job, if you don't know why he has it out for you, it is impossible to counter it. Some people are just not nice and you would be better off elsewhere. Don't burn any bridges or do anything that would give him cause to give you a negative recommendation. Hoepfully he will at at least be fair in that regard. Good luck!

2 options. Bale out or play politics yourself by sucking up to your boss's superior and documenting everything your boss does wrong and covers up with BS and handing it over chapter and verse to the head honcho, oh and "stab" the wicked witch of the west while you're at it. People who have time for office politics aren't doing their job or aren't taking enough on.

Document his behavior towards you and what he says to others, and then inform his superiors. And no wonder he acts that way if he is politician, must be a democrat or liberal??? lol You deserve better, you are a human being trying to make a living. Best of luck to you hon

Do you have a common superintendant that oversees both of you? Talk to him/her. If not, then follow the above advice. If you have the option, put a mini-cassette recorder in your pocket and trap him saying something incriminating, and present that to your superiors. Otherwise, he will finagle something to do to you in the same way. It works both ways. The last time this was done to me, I got HIM fired and then started my own business, and now outdo the business I left.
If you do nothing, you will seal your own fate.

Go to his boss and express concern, telling him you appreciate his discretion in how he handles this (important). Another thought.....let him fire you so you can get unemployment and perhaps a termination package, as opposed to quitting and getting nothing. Good luck--you sound like you would be a great employee--lots of employers (myself included) would love to have more people like you, especially with your people skills..
