I'm going through a seperation and in the process of getting a book published. I want to ensure that any money I make from this book does not end up in my soon to be ex's hand. He was very verbally and mentally abusive especially during the time that it took for me to write the book. So my question is, is there some way to keep him from getting his mits on any of it?

So me and my friend go to play soccer and on our way we decide to meet up with somebody somewhere so that he could follow us to where the soccer practice is at. While we wait for him my idiot friend decides to get out into somebodys unlocked car and take their stuff. after finishing playing soccer he goes off with somebody else but left his things in my car.
i didnt want anything to do with his stolen things so i get rid of them and give them to somebody else so he can pick them up later.
Later on at night me and my girlfriend are fighting and he comes back to try and shut us up so he can get his stuff back. Somebody calls the cops saying we are being loud and we both get pulled over at different spots, and when they let us go i went back to see why they had arrested him and the guy that drove him to pick up his things. The cop said "you know these guys?" i said 'yeah' and with that they decided to search my car and i forgot to get rid of a $100 calculator that he had left in my car.

While in their care, the dealership totaled my car. What should I expect for compensation. They are paying the car off, but what about putting me in a new car? I do not have a lot of established credit, so yes, I owed more than the car was worth. I don't feel very good about the way things are going. Regardless of how much I had left to pay on the car, it would not be a concern if it were not for their carelessness. The car was brand new, and did not even have 10,000 miles.

Do animals have to possess any specific biological characteristics to merit "moral consideration"? Should moral consideration be given to any organism that can feel pain or does the intensity of pain that they are capable of experiencing make a difference? (For example - primates with advanced brains have higher moral considerability)

Hello, here is the story. Fist this is for my girlfriend.
He husband and herself are going through a divorce and they have a house that he is living in. She and her son moved out and he is responsible to pay the mortgage and taxes as he still lives there. This is just and agreement between them. To further complicte the issue, he had some tax issues a few years ago and he wanted to remodel the house. Due to his tax lien he had himself removed from the deed and the Mortgage loans. She is the only name on both so it is her credit the is in jeopardy if he does not pay the monthy bill. The house is still not finshed after 5 years and does not have final inspection.
Question is can she evict him from the house and put it up for sale to get out of debt? If there any equity is she liable to give him half?
Really all she wants is to get out from under a house that she no longer lives in but us responsible for. She would rather not file for bankruptcy is there is another optio

According to the Book of Mormon a dark skin is a curse imposed by God on the unrighteous and their descendants as a punishment for sin. Do you agree with that doctrine? (Book of Mormon, 1 Nephi 12:22-23, Alma 3:6, 2 Nephi 5:21-22, Jacob 3:8, 3 Nephi 2:15-16, Mormon 5:15; references to the "Lamanites" are taken to be referring to Native American "Indians".

I was travelling I-285 in the early am, switched lanes with a signal was driving in the lane a few minutes then wam, I was hit from the rear. I immediately called 911 at 7:16am there were no injuries and no cars were towed. The HERO unit arrived an moved us to the shoulder of the road after about 20 mins....20 more mins later the Atlanta PD arrived the officer was inexperienced, it took her until 10am to complete the incident details and as an added bonus, she ticketed me who was hit from the rear in addition to ticketing the driver that hit me. My father arrived at the scene after the other driver had left and the officer told my father it was not my fault yet, I got a ticket. The officer further advised me she was new to writing tickets and told me I could dispute the matter in court and it would "probablly" be thrown out and she further advised me I had a good chance of it being thrown out because she would be in training that day!!!! Her ins won't pay (ticket) please advise.

I mean sure if someone abuses the Second amendment right they shouldn't be allowed to and those are the criminals but if everyone else had a gun whan a criminal was around the criminal would be less likely to shoot knowing he whould risk being shot himself, especially if going against multiple people.

OK, the Duke Lacrosse players were cleared of all charges today, but one issue still stands. Shouldn't the strippers wages be garnished for the rest of her life to pay even a fraction of these legal fees?

It was her fault that this whole ordeal happened. Sure, the players were idiots in the first place, but NOTHING excused her behavior. Shouldn't we make an example out of her, and teach women that falsely crying "rape" will NOT be tolerated?

Or will we let this farce continue, even though we see how much harm it can cause?

I am NOT advocating rape in any way, and I personally think rapists should be locked up for life. However, I also think that she should be arrested, and put in jail for at least a year. Her wages should also be garnished, for life.

She ruined these three men's lives, so hers should be ruined also.

Agreed?

The claim is that my dog entered my across the street neighbors yard 4 times since 2004 and attacked his dog, but this is a lie. My dog was on his chain the first two times and there never was a 4th time like he says. The third time my dog broke his chain and the dogs got into a fight in my other neighbors yard next door. My dog did not attack his dog, they mutualy started the fight. They were sniffing each other one minute and then they just started fighting. We do have a leash law in my town and his dogs were just left free to run the neighborhood while mine was on a chain. WHAT DID I DO THAT HE ISNT JUST AS RESPONSIBLE FOR. Also, on the third time the man stood out in front of my home and shouted threats of death on me and my family until the animal patrol called the police. Then a few days later his wife came over opened my door and as I walked over to her, she struck me closed fist to the head. I have lost my dog over this and payed many bills as well. Now he is sueing me for$2425
