Immigration - January 2007

Does anyone know how Mexicanos treat other Latinos? They are always b!tching about how superior their nation is and how Central America is full of indios. They are always bragging on how they are more "advanced" than any country in Latin America. Besides all this, they want us to SPEAK Spanish with their dialect, celebrate their customs and traditions, and even if you do this you are not 100% accepted by them. If I came to America it wasn't to act like a Mexicano, if I had to imitate someone it would be Americans instead. If they believe they're so much better than anyone else why can't they fix their country?

I came to US 10 years ago with tourist visa, but then decided to study here. I then switch the tourist visa to studnet visa (F-1). I've always wanted to go back to visit, but afraid that the immigration officers will question me why I didn't have student visa before I came to US. So I havn't gone back to my country for 10 years. Supposely (my plan is) I will go back to my country for good after got my master degree, but I don't want to wait that long. I want to go back this summer for a visit. Should I risk it?

Mexican and all others, Americans don't appericate you snubbing us by waving a mexican flag when protesting in this country about things you don't like about this country and refusing to learn our langauge and expect us to understand .learn to speak english or shut up what is the point of you coming here when you won't even learn to speak our language it is every where you go in the south,north and west it seems we always have to help you to ask for what you want,at the gas station or the 7-11 what is up with that.I have nothing against anyone but give us a break. Please speak english,work hard and pay as you go just like the rest of us, Medical coverage is not provided free for americans so why should we not mine that you come here using benefits waving your flag and taking from us we fight everyday to get and keep what we have as americans Please repect that and stop feeling as though we are treating you wrong we have our own problems.you can't help when you don't speak the languag

we are getting marry soon and he wants to take me to the states after our wedding. i know it's not that easy, that it takes time. we are getting marry in the DR.... and hes american. The problem is that a lot of people have to understand what hapend with people that are iligal in the USA, First they are braking the law YES, and the law they are braking is simple, just the for crosing the border iligaly, the word says it all, they just broked one law, after they broke the law of crosing the border they can brake some other laws, like geting iligal documents, and a lot of other crimes that anyone comit in this country, a lot of them just brake the first one, corsing the border iligaly, you can not make it general to all of them that they all brake tha same laws, just like any resident or citizen of the USA, they can brake any law too, does not mean that i'm Ok with it, all i say is that not all of us do that right?, so you can not make it general!.

Another problem that people have to know is the untill this goverment. The USA, make some cain of new law that iligal people can use on they favor to become residents, there will be iligal aliens all the time.

I invited someone to the US and they got a visa for several months and are to leave in April. I told them they had to leave then so that I would not have any problems with the government. Now, I find out this person went to Canada. My question:

She was able to enter Canada, will she be able to re-enter the US w/her visa before April? Since she's gone against what I asked her, I don't want her to be able to re-enter. What will happen? What should I do if she doesn't leave at the time she is supposed to?

Yesterday, Jesse Diaz a LULAC leader said illegal immigrants are picking up bad habits from Americans from shooting to drinking to drugs! This was said when he was confronted with the Dept. of Justice report that shows the criminal activity of illegals. He said Americans are to blame for illegals losing their conservative Catholic values..he mentioned teen pregnacy....guess he has never heard of the benefits that are "birthed" with anchor babies!

I put up a question about illegal aliens and how I was dropped from WIC because there was to many mexicans on it. It was something bad that really happened and the American people that have rsponded have nothing but mean things to say. Just to let them know I was on WIC cause my fiance decided he didnt want a family like we had been tryin for. So yes I was on wic for about a year when my baby was first born. I am now not on WIC have a fulltime job and fulltime school schedule and a toddler thats walkin and talkin. For yall to jump to the conclusion I was lazy and didnt want a open was a horrible judgement I had to use WIC I had no other choice. No one will hire a pregnant girl due to insurance issues. So I just wanted the people who said I was lazy and a bad mother to know I had no choice. I am using the computer at school on my breaks. I would like to ask why so judgemental and always thinking bad about others. That isnt what God or our country is about. Think about it?

The director of Citizenship and Immigration Services (CIS) Emilio Gonzalez (a naturalized citizen) created an award called the Outstanding American By Choice Award. Homeland Security Secretary Chertoff (Gonzalez's boss) awarded Gonzalez with the award Gonzalez created. To be eligible for the award you have to be a naturalized citizen. Is this ethical since Gonzalez created the award and it discriminates against native born americans?
