how are social security numbers tied to you?
how does a s.s. number prove you're a us citizen?
how would you prove to be an american to the social security office or when applying for a passaport?
how are passports fraudulently acquired? how are they caught?

i am writing a report on "how to..." i chose "how to get away as an immigrant in the us". i am legal here, even though i wasnt born here and thought it was an interesting subject. if any one have any information they know, story to tell, etc it'd be much appreciated.

Hello, im 17 yrs old and i have a Immigration Interview on jan 18th 2007. My Dad filed the I-130 on Jan 1998 and the day Finally Came to see weather or Not Im a Permanant Residence. The Question i have is that Like i entered the US back in 1989 when i was 3 months old, illeagal, im not sure what kind of questions THe Officer will ask. Im worried so much that i dont think Im going to Pass Because i will not remember answer to questions that have to do in the Past, like when i was Small. and i dunno if i could speak for my dad since he does not know any English, so should i bring an interperter? or can i talk for him?Any One else had an Immigration Interview thats similar to the case i have or just any Interviews? Please dont mind Sharing your Answer as i will gladly appreciate them. Again Please Help me. THanks

I'm 15, and I live in Toronto, Canada right now, but I would really like to go to a university in the US, especially one in North Carolina like UNC or Duke. I have relatives who live in Raleigh, NC and I have visited many times with my parents, and I really like it there. I have even seen the UNC campus in Chapel Hill, and I think I would like to go there.

But I would like to know how I can make this possible? I guess I would need a student visa to do that, but when should I start looking into that or applying for that? Should I start all that now, or do I still have time? I'm in grade 9 right now. And if I go to the US on a student visa is it possible to apply for permenant residency once I'm there? Because I want to live there aswell. I'm trying really hard in my work at school so I can get good grades, and I'm not very popular because of it so I really want to make my goal, but I need to know how to start doing that, and if I can stay once I'm there?

Most of the legal immigrants are educated and the illegals are not.Legals seem to have more time and money.
I am not from Mexico. I am a USA citizen.

if you live in US....youre not a mexican, you just have a latino descent, and they say theyre in contact with their culture and stuff, there are several different cultures in mexico, and also several different races! people from mexico city and people from oaxaca look different.....so, how can they say theyre half mexican?

My last question I asked just a couple of hours ago was loaded with the most idiotic remarks I have ever heard. I cannot even begin to understand why some people believe those illegal aliens( and yes they are called illegal aliens; Websters definition of "illegal Alien"- a resident born in or belonging to another country who has not acquired citizenship by naturalization) have a right to be here. They have no rights. And for some that say they pay taxes, I'd like to see all there paycheck stubs that show that taxes were taken out. Come on why are people being so nieve about this whole issue. If you think that it is bad for the U. S. to control our borders and not let in illegals because you claim we stole it form the indians when the europeans first came here then why would you think that we would not want that to happen to us. Why should we let our contry get overpowered by lawless illegals? So please only real answers that do not have some stupid remark about me the author.

I am taking a Spanish1 course in high school and intend on taking Spanish classes into collage. I have never used my language skills outside of class. When do you suppose I will have to speak Spanish everday just to get around in American society? I was kicked off WIC which provided formula for my baby and I'm a single mother goin back to school and cant afford to buy my own formula. I was kicked off WIC because they had so many Illegal Mexicans apply so me being American they took me off. The Mexicans had job I did not The mexicans had a home I did not this is abunch of crap when the illegal aliens take away from our children. This needs to change I believe we should block all the borders and keep them out why hurt our own for the ones who cant even fill out a paper to get citizenship. This country has homeless people who cant get a job due to no address but a mexican without citizenship can almost choose their jobs. This need to change. I want to be the first woman pres and I'll take care off the Dirty Mexicans and other illegal aliens.

The 14th Amendment says nothing about children of illegal aliens. Looks like illegal aliens are using a loophole in the law to get welfare checks by the way of their kids, and to give an excuse to keep from being deported.

Some illegal aliens are getting social security checks by getting doctors to label their kids as learning disabled.

After slavery most blacks refused to go back to africa because they thought of the U.S. as their motherland. Black Americans have also fought in every American war with bravery, even against the odds of prejudice. Most Blacks today see themselves as American, not hispanic american, Swedish American, or asian American. The only second language Blacks have is English. Does that make us the most patriotic?

To gain legal status after crossing over illegally. I have read a few answers stating yeah they were illegal but now they have a green card or oh they were undocumented but now they are legal is that possible? I've always been told that once they know you crossed over illegally your claim is denied. What is the truth?

waver and pay the fee what do i do with the waver, take it to the interview or send it by mail to some one or what ,all i understand to do is fill out the waver document, their is information about how much it will cost around $ 360 but thats all i could find, could some one who knows please give me direction on this , thanks very much.
