I put up a question about illegal aliens and how I was dropped from WIC because there was to many mexicans on it. It was something bad that really happened and the American people that have rsponded have nothing but mean things to say. Just to let them know I was on WIC cause my fiance decided he didnt want a family like we had been tryin for. So yes I was on wic for about a year when my baby was first born. I am now not on WIC have a fulltime job and fulltime school schedule and a toddler thats walkin and talkin. For yall to jump to the conclusion I was lazy and didnt want a open was a horrible judgement I had to use WIC I had no other choice. No one will hire a pregnant girl due to insurance issues. So I just wanted the people who said I was lazy and a bad mother to know I had no choice. I am using the computer at school on my breaks. I would like to ask why so judgemental and always thinking bad about others. That isnt what God or our country is about. Think about it?

Baby...do you feel better now that you got all that off your chest?

Sometimes that's all you need. I know what you are saying. If an illegal gets assistance..ie welfare...they are entitled...why should they have to work for it. But, when a tax apying citizen, who HAS paid into the system in the past needs it...they are just lazy. Don't sweat it. You are doing better now...and probably better off than those that put you down!

Have a good day :)

Why does everyone think that anyone can get WIC. Unless you are an american born citizen with a valid birth certificate and ID you can not and will never be eligible for WIC. If you were dropped from WIC it wasn't because there are illegals getting it and they just don't have enough left for you. Every WIC application received by the government will not be approved until they have a copy of a birth certificate and valid ID to verify that the applicant is in fact an american born citizen. Call your local WIC office if you don't believe it. I work full time but due to my income and lack of insurance I applied for WIC and was approved only after I provided my birth certificate and state id. Otherwise they were not going to approve me. I have WIC therefore I am not judging you for doing what you had to do for you and your child but get your facts straight. If you were dropped from WIC, it wasn't because the illegal mexicans are using it all up.

Why do you care what these people think? No one here knows you.

It was wrong for people to assume you were lazy, but there are a lot of people on welfare and WIC that are lazy and are just abusing the system. People are mad about that, and they took it out on you. If there weren't so many people using welfare when they don't need it or don't deserve it, more people like you who only need assistance for a little while would be able to get it.

Edit:
After looking at your question, I realized the way you asked it probably offended some people. There are people in favor of illegal aliens being here and taking all of our money, so they will say anything to defend them. People also don't like it when you say "dirty Mexicans."

I am sorry that people are so judgmental. You did the right thing. How would your baby got fed? Just because you were on WIC doesn't mean that you are lazy. And for you to have a Full-time Job and taking care of your baby. Is the best thing that you can do.

WIC is there for people who doesn't have that much money.
People need to know the facts before they start assume.

People are so judgmental because of all the people that are lazy and looking for a hand out.Don't take it too personally.Americans are frustrated by the illegal alien issue and they feel almost powerless to fix it.Our government seems to be forgetting about the hard working tax paying legal public in favor of the illegal aliens and people that are on welfare because they are too lazy to work. Its mainly frustration ,just go on with your life and good luck.It seem you got a hand up not a hand out.Keep up the good work.

Note... Perhaps it was your use of derogatory descriptive terms that elicited some of the answers you got.

That's good that you are back on your feet. Keep up the good work. Good luck with your future and your baby. But I can't help but notice that you mention how you said 'all the mexicans' are stopping you from getting welfare and go on to state that God and our country aren't about judging others (yourself) harshly. There's a logical reason as to why you were dropped. You sound like a girl who's getting a clue about life-but hypocritical also. Anyway, good luck.

GOOD FOR YOU!!!!! It's refreshing to see someone try and better themselves, instead of just living off welfare!!!!
Don't mind what some of the other people on here may have said to you!!!

And, you're right, it does seem that if you are an ILLEGAL, then you get everything HANDED to you for free!!!!!

I am like MOST Americans. I don't mind helping our LEGAL citizens, as long as they really need it, and are trying to help themselves!! It's the FREELOADERS and those who want HAND-OUTS like the illegals, that i have a problem with!!!!

And, to "lgatica06" Illegals DO receive WIC, AFDC, "free" school lunches, "free" medical, and food stamps!!!! As long as their KID is born in the U.S., then they ARE eligible!!!!! Why do you think all the ILLEGAL mexican women are pregnant BEFORE they come here???? THEY lnow our laws!!!!

You've done all you need to do to feel better about your past situation. It's the overweight woman with a buggy full of steaks and plenty of snacks that make the taxpayers growl when she whips out her assistance card and swipe. There is a difference between that and someone who truly needs it for a while to get on their feet.I will happily continue to pay my 5 grand a year if everyone who needs help turns out as well as you.:)

As far as I'm concerned our government programs were designed for people like you, who were down and needed a little help getting on your feet. I'm sorry people were so mean to you. There is no understanding or compassion in the world today. People refuse to put themselves in someone elses shoes. I was always taught to picture myself in someone else's situation before I opened my mouth. Today folks just go around flappiing they're gums and have nothing of use to contribute to the world. We need to be sure to teach our children compassion for their fellow human beings and this is the only way the world will change for future generations.

It is illegal for them to kick you off. Report them.

As for judgemental people, please ignore these idiots. You getting upset only makes them feel better about themselves.
