Simply because a federal law says immigrants who sneak into the country are illegals, does that mean a city or a state has the right to turn them away??
How can they do this to decent people who are just not US citizens? Do they know how hard and dangerous it is to work in Mexico? What if some illegals have already bought a house there? (You do not need to be a US citizen to own a house). Can other cities do this too? How do we know if our city is thinking about it?
Anyway, how can a Texas city do this, since Texas is a hispanic majority state??

I saw someone say that Mexico should pay for their medical expenses, but I think if illegals can prove they work at some business, then the corporation should assume all responsibility for their families medical expenses.
It would be a greater deterant than a fine.

Take it or leave it. I am tired of this nation (UK) worrying wheather we are offending some individual or their culture.
I am not against immigration, nor do i hold a grudge against anyone who is seeking a better life by coming to the UK.
However, there are a few things that those who have recently come to the Uk, and apparently some born here, need to understand. As Britons we have our own culture, society, language and our own lifestyle. Our culture has been developed over cenruries of war & struggle.

12 immigrants got caught this week in the city that I live in. Immigration went to a construction site and caught all of them. The immigrants, 8 from Mexico and 4 from Brazil were working for as little as 20.00 a day. Whos the bad guy, they for being illegal or the Contractor for paying them that little? Please give me your opinion. Do you feel bad they are getting paid that little? Or are you mad that the contractor is paying them so little? Or send them back?

I need to know more about the "removal of conditions" on my 2 year resident card that they gave me. Since i wont be with him when this "removal of conditions" paperwork needs to be signed what are the odds I actually get approved?

Some background:

I've lived here 15 years (since I was 4 1/2 & now i am 20)
I work full time and go to school full time
and i have over 5 police reports stating different threats and abusive acts over the period of one year.

Please Help.

How is it that pro-illegals actually think illegals can do more good to this country than harm? I'm not saying all illegals are this way. But it's pretty scary to know that a member of our family could be killed by an illegal by murder, or drunk driving. It's also scary to know that our daughters could be victims of rape and other sex crimes brought on by illegals as well. I really don't think it's fair that we not only support these benefits that illegal are exploiting, but we are housing illegal criminals in jail cells across the country that have been arrested on an average of 4 times each. from the USA in a few years. I am in college but once I get financially stable and a little more mature I would love to live overseas for a year or who knows maybe the rest of my life. My question is what all would I have to do to legally live there? I heard they won't allow me unless I marry someone over there. From time to time we see someone write that this world was made by God for all of us, and that it is your human right to live anywhere in the world you want. So are you saying that no country should have borders, or that just the U S A , can not have borders ? Also if you can tell us a country that has open borders, I can not think of even one.

It's not even like that Turks want to be part of the EU anyway. Opening the door to Turkey also means opening the door to all of the immigrants that would change the overall European Face. Turkey would then become a gateway to all other emmigrants in the region. No Europeans want to see their beautiful cultures be overcome by the Kebab-culture. It's not even like Turkey is part of Europe...If I wanted to go to a city overrun with anti-amrican Islamic Fundamentalists, i would got to Tehran. I'm at work right now and there's a guy painting my new office. I begin talking to him, asking him a question about the lighting and the guy scratches his head. He didn't understand a word I said. He looks like he's from a european country. I suspect this guy is over here illegally.

Are people just as dilligent about cracking down on illegals who aren't Mexican?

Another thing, when someone wants to become a citizen, do they have to know English in order to take the test or is it written in other languages? Just curious because I don't see how this guy could be legal if he doesn't understand English. Maybe i'm wrong.
