when talking about illegal immigration

(Examples:
"This is God's land"
"There are no borders in heaven."
"God doesn't see legal or illegal.")

but then they ignore the scripture that says we should follow the laws of the land?

I believe we should, as I believe that each person should understand the rights given and the responsibilities taken on as citizens before becoming an official citizen of the United States. This does NOT mean that certain rights granted in the Constitution would not apply as these are, in many cases, basic human rights.

What do you think? And why?

I keep hearing people make the argument that illegal immigrants have more rights than legal resident aliens or citizens. I'm curious exactly what rights people think they have that others don't.

Clearly not any of the rights reserved in Article IV or the 14th Amendment for citizens. Clearly not any of the protections from the 1st, 4th, 5th or 6th Amendment, which apply to everyone.

So, exactly what rights do Illegal Immigrants have that legal residents do not?
Oh, and please cite your sources. Saying "they can do X and legal residents cannot" is meaningless unless you provide some source other than rumor.

This is a link that talks of the problem on the east coast but the west is even worse.
In Kern County Ca. an illegal convicted of molesting a 13 year old was given 3 years because in the view of a liberal judge the tax payers should not have to pay for his upkeep in prison. The illegal was convicted previously on similar charges to a 15 year old but cut a deal and was released.
I personally would be willing to pay for his exacution.

es even against it? I doesn't seem like their leaders are either--Bush and his guest worker program, etc. It's not just Mexicans--it's ALL illegal imm. I am speaking of.

Reasons why illegal immigration bothers me:
1) Sucking up the services intended for those who have actually paid into them via taxes.
2) The holding down of wages for the lowest paid Americans--which ends up costing the government b/c the poor require more assistance.
3) The free medical services which they require continue to jack up healthcare costs--and as an uninsured student who wants to protect her good credit, means minimal health care for myself...
4) The disease which are making a resurgence in America, usually only unique to the 3rd world-- leprosy, Chaga's disease, Multi-drug resistant TB, polio, hepatitis...etc. (Did you know that 1 out of every 7 East Asian immigrants are carriers of Hep B)
5) The constant influx of poor will cause an even greater divide b/w rich and poor, which makes fo

I know it would take a long time, but it would be a great benefit for the U.S.. We would have oil and natural resources! We would have the pyramids that their ancestors built and that would be great for our turism. We would have cities with great beaches just like Cancun and a lot of more stuff that they already have and they don't really care about it. And obviously the illegal immigration issue will finally dissapear thank God.

Most Mexican illegals are Catholic. Does the vatican support mexican illegal because they want to turn protestant America into Roman Catholics. Ever since martin luther, protestants have been at war with each other. Just like the sunni's and shia's. It explains why catholic France doesn't like protestant England and U.S.. Is this just anther world power sheme just like the others?

Let's face the US government has allowed illegal immigration. In fact they secretly encouraged it. One problem that no one ever discusses is if we have all these illegal immigrants, why do they all have to come from latin america. Now there will be millions given amnesty soon it is a fact. Meanwhile hardworking people from all over the world would like to get into the US. People from China, Russia, Eastern Europe, Cambodia, etc. would come over here willing to work. Often they are better educated and would want to go to work if different fields broadening the work base. It is just sickening to me that the US turns down so many immigrants from around the world yet is literally taking millions from one region. Is anyone else outraged by the unfairness of the system?
