Let's face the US government has allowed illegal immigration. In fact they secretly encouraged it. One problem that no one ever discusses is if we have all these illegal immigrants, why do they all have to come from latin america. Now there will be millions given amnesty soon it is a fact. Meanwhile hardworking people from all over the world would like to get into the US. People from China, Russia, Eastern Europe, Cambodia, etc. would come over here willing to work. Often they are better educated and would want to go to work if different fields broadening the work base. It is just sickening to me that the US turns down so many immigrants from around the world yet is literally taking millions from one region. Is anyone else outraged by the unfairness of the system?

Maricella, I didn't mean mexicans won't work, I simple meant that the majority of them go into the same type of labor jobs.
EZ that is exactly what I'm talking about it is ridiculous. I actually know a lady from Japan who was married to a US citizen. They met in college and were in love. She left to go back to Japan after school but there relationship went. Her boyfriend later developed cancer. She still loved him came back and was married to him. He battled cancer for about 2 years but didn't win. While caring for her sick husband she forgot to fill out some paper work. After her husband died she was told she had to leave the US and couldn't come back for 10 years. Some of it had to do with the paperwork but most of it was just the ridiculous laws.

Yes I am outraged. I do not think we voters should allow our elected officials give amnesty either. That's right we have the power to stop them, just let them know we will not tolerate that type of ruling and their job is on the line. The illegal immigrants are by and large uneducated, untrained, and unwanted by their own country so what good can they do ours. If a person comes in legally there are requirements and through the requirements the undesirable are most often eliminated. We can not afford to take on welfare cases from other countries we have plenty of our own. The reason the Latinos are allowed to get by with this is due to the large populations of legal family members here and the greed of Americans giving them jobs.

The favoritism comes from the simple fact that there are more of them. And there is a larger VOTING BLOCK of that vintage of immigrant. There are more of them because of all they have to do is walk or swim, versus take a long boat voyage. In fact many are heading to Latin America to make the trip into the US easier. You mention that the other countries immigrants would work harder and are more educated. If you drive down the road in the mid-west or the south you will see the migrant works doing backbreaking labor in the fields. I really don't see a well educated foreigner getting a work vista to work ten hours a day cutting tobacco in North Carolina.
all illegal immigration is wrong no matter what ethnic group they are in. But as long as businesses go to the border to pick them up, and contribute big dollars to political campaigns, the problem will never get fixed. No one in DC wants to get it fixed. It will take the people (sheeple) of this country to force them to do something. Don't hold your breath.
The INS doesn't even keep up with those who enter legally and then let the work vista expire and drop off the map. See September 11th 2001 for solid proof of that.

You are very narrow minded. What makes you think that just because we are from Latin America we do not come here to work. If you would do some research before you make your comments you would know that the education system in Mexico is far more advanced than the one here in the US. Some of the best Medical leaders come from Latin America. The problems is that the economy doesnt allow for everyone to receive an education. Its expensive. Imagine paying for college...since Kindergarden. Education is expensive. If you feel that the system is unfair to others, you should really think about the region you are condemning. the reason there are more immigrants from that "region" is because its the closest one. I can guarantee you that France has immigration issues, but they are not all Mexican. They are whoever is closest.

No,They are all criminals. Illegal immigrants from Latin America don't get "favoritism" from the US government that other illegal immigrants do not.
The reason is geographical. Mexico is next to America. It's easier for them to get to America. When they get deported the just come right back. It's physical hard for people from Eastern Europe, or the Far East to do that because they are on the other side of an ocean.
I do agree with you that it is sickening the way people who try to legal immigrate are refused, because of the crimes of illegal immigrants who get in.

Yes Robert......I am a white British woman, healthy, educated and can support myself financially and I was almost refused entry back into the USA because I dared to return after being out of the country for one week.
I came to visit friends in the late summer and they invited me back to spend Christmas with them, I didn't see a problem, I bring my own insurance etc...At the airport I was 'grilled' for about an hour as to the reason for return and told that I would no longer be able to visit again on my holiday visa scheme until I had been out of the country for at least 6 months!
It was a very upsetting and down right scary time, I had been travelling for about 16 hours and was made to feel like I had done some thing wrong.
Pulled out of the line by a sour faced guard in full public view and led to an interview room.
So our nations can stand shoulder to shoulder in the same political areanas and our troops fight on the same 'side' ( I have a nephew in the British army serving his 2nd station in Iraq) but a lone, law abiding woman from an allied country with legal entry is treated with contempt and suspicion?
Some thing is going horribly wrong with this wonderful country of yours.

No illegal immigrants from mexico are not better than other immigrants!! Of course they will tell you they are with such lame excuses how they do work Americans won't. Illegal immigration is wrong no matter where they are from!!!! Unfortunately there are more illegal immigrants from Mexico and other Latino countires in the US than other countries. Something should have been done about illegal immigration ages ago.
Americans should be outraged not only with illegal immigration but the non-effort by our government!!!

I think it's part of the plan for the North American Union as to why they have turned a blind eye to it. I have found immigrants from other countries to be quite proud to be Americans and eager to be a part of this great nation. It's that illegal factor with the common border and minimul enforcement that has thrown it way off track. It's not the "favorite" choice of the American people. Just the favorite choice for cheap labor.

It just shows how narrow-minded and selfish Mexican illegals and their supporters are. They only see themselves and their quest for amnesty, they don´t look at the big picture or think of all the other illegals. Why should Mexican illegals be special? If they are given amnesty, all the rest of the illegals would be up in arms demanding equal treatment. That´s why amnesty cannot and should not happen.

Yeah I know its disgusting, we give other nationalities a rough way to go about being able to come over here, and they are probably better candidates for being American, then the ones from south of the border who love to hate Americans and talk of stolen land.

I dont think of that we ought to continuously study spanish. whilst human beings from different international places migrated right here particularly time sessions, they discovered to talk english and become aside of our American way of existence. i believe that the Mexicans are not any distinctive and that they could additionally study to talk english and combine into our lifestyle to boot.
