Can they obtain citizenship in another country if not could they still obtain one of the various types of visas?

odds are yes if you can obtain a permanent (or resident) visa. Other visas might not work as well, but if you can get that one you've got a good chance of becoming a citizen.

Depends on the country. Do a search for the embassy website for the country you would like to move to and see what they have to offer in the way of information.

no if your a felon the only good you are is behind bars or in the ground you cant find a job anywhere and everyone around you treats you like your charles manson its wrong if you pay your debt to society by being behind bars and your not a murderer or a child pedophile or a rapist then you should have your slate wiped clean
