I had my interview 5 months ago... it's pretty straight forward. In regards to your lease, you can get a copy form your landlord. I did....
bring all your bills, bank statement, love letters, etc.... you may not needs them, but be prepared.
they may ask you how you met, where did you go out on dates, wedding pictures, where did you get married, ask you personal things about your spouse, they asked me what I did in school, and asked my husband what he did at his job, they asked me why I moved to another state and if i planned to move back, they asked why we bought a house in the state we moved (if that would affect us moving back to the other state we moved from), they asked us again several times how we met and fell in love, how we knew we wanted to marry each other etc.
we have been together for 3 years and married for a yr and a half, so we had plenty of pictures to show, but he did not ask for any...
it was fast, but he was mostly interested in how we met and got married and our educational background, let me know if u have any other question, hope this helps... also if you do google searches for immigration interviews you will see many people's experiences come up....

I'm still waiting for my interview but I've heard they ask you questions about what you know about each other, and questions about your relationship. For example they might ask where you guys met, the names of your husband's parents, the color of his toothbrush, crap like that. Think of it as a serious version of the newlywed game with the green card as the prize. I also think it depends on who you have interviewing you. Different interviewers will ask different things.

It's really helpful if you guys live at the same address with both names on the lease. If you don't, this doesn't mean you the interview will go badly, it just looks really good. Also bring pictures of the two of you together to the interview. Shots of your husband with your family are great. Wedding pictures I think would be perfect; this also would dispel any suspicions the interviewer might have that your wedding was fake (this DOES happen).

no u don't have to take the dvd from the wedding the photos should be good enough. They really don't ask a whole alot of personal questions. Maybe like when did you get married what are your birthdates stuff like that. And when you got married isn't that big of a deal my husband and I were the same way. Good Luck

Questions:
1. Are a you or have been a member of any subersive group that is against the United States?
2. Have you ever registered to vote without being a citizen of the U.S?
3. How do you plan to support yourself and your spouse?
4. How long have you been in the U.S.

These are some of the questions, they are usually fairly friendly and professional. Good luck !

the purpose of the interview is to make sure that you guys are married for real. the questions will be simple such as "when is your wife's birthday?" "how long have you guys met?"
i would suggest that you guys bring pictures from weddings and other pictures.. also bank statements with both your names on it would help.

Did you get married? They can ask: when was the last time that you had sex, what is the color of the wastebasket in the kitchen. What kind of milk do you buy? what did you have for breakfast? What kind of underware does she use? How did you get here?, do you have pictures? SHOW THEM!! how often do you have sex. When was the last time that you went to the theater. Which movie? who bought the popcorn. And every question will be asked in separate rooms!!! so, be sure that you are ready!!
