BECAUSE THEY KNOW, AT ANY MOMENT, THEY COULD BE WISKED AWAY AND RETURNED TO THE COUNTRY OF THEIR BIRTH BECAUSE THEY NEVER SEEMED TO GET AROUND TO GETTING THE PROPER PAPERWORK.

I am white, of Anglo-Saxon extraction. I work in a factory. Most of the people I work WITH,(I am not a supervisor), are over-worked and under-paid. Our jobs suck; not so much from the work itself; but because our supervisors are bullies, chiselers, and self-important morons. Unlike the past unfortunately; because most of the workers are immigrants; they are all job-scared. They feel this way rightfully. They don't remember how it was twenty years ago when you'd tell a jerk of a boss to stick-it, and have another gig within 24 hours. We have too many workers; competing for too few jobs. The MAN loves it! That's why Bush the minion would never allow anything to halt illegal immigration.

I know a Mexican man that works one of his 2 jobs as a factory worker, he is very happy with it and loves that they offer overtime and let you work independantly.

I'll tell you why. Not only in Factories but everywhere they go. They cannot be comfortable, atleast not the illegals. Example: Would you be comfortable if the FBI, Police and Covernment had you on target because you did something wrong, and you carry the fear of this everywhere you go. You go to work becasue you have children to feed, and you go out to places because you don't want to be at home all the time, but everywhere you go you know that somebody is out to catch you. It's a very bad feeling. And most illegal immigrants feel this way. Most illegal immigrants are not here to terrorize or to commit crimes of all kinds, they are here because they care for their families and because their country's policies are poor. In the eyes of our Almighty God, There is No illegal immigrants.

Well, Im not sure where youre seeing them, but I would assume because it is a boring, difficult, unrewarding career choice

I will not pretend to know the answer,but I say it takes one to know one I say, besides why are you anonymous? how do you know they look so depressed? do you work with them? nothing wrong with that you know ,(working in a factory)maybe you can cheer them up on Sat.nights??? you look happy ,got something up your tailpipe?Anyway my answer is ,Maybe thats your calling in life ,to cheer up the depressed!!!!

they are promised of a better life in the U.S. they pay thousands of dollars to come here..seeking that better life..only to discover that their dreams was a hoax..a glamourized hoax

its not that they look depressed but sometimes there just afraid either that or the job is boring

I don't think it's depression , they look more tired to me because they're working their butts off!
