What will Americans do when illegals are marching, chanting AZTLAN...and screaming in Spanish?

We must bombard our Senators and Legislators with emails and phone calls demanding they pull the plug on all services and tax funded aid that illegals receive. The money going to them must stop. Our tax dollars have been used by our officials to buy what they perceive as the "future voting bloc".

We have a few months before the next election. Put out anyone who is not serving the best interest of America FIRST.

People get it together!!!! I am not going to work picking up
fruits and packing on warehouse (No ofense to those who do it)
So start treating the illegal people right before they leave us
and we will Starve!! Who is going to do these job if they leave..
You know we aint and the employer aint going to pay more
money for us to do it ...so don't dream about it...We need them
plus they are ok and hard working people...

So instead of complaining appreciate what they are doing...
Because if you keep crying and get them to leave you will
have to start doing these jobs in order to survive .. so Stop
the complains!!! Before they leave us.

This is not a racist issue. It is about what is legal and what is Illegal.
It is about breaking the law! What part of Illegal don't people understand?! I don't care if you are black, blue, red, white, or hot pink.
I'm just sick of people breaking the laws and thinking that it is ok because they think they are above the law. The United States was
founded on laws. I have no respect for someone who comes here
to break them!

We live in a large Hispanic populated state and we are told my kids have to learn Spanish, yet this is America and we speak English, we were born English/ German/ Indian/ Hungarian/ basically. I am a Heinz 57 (which means many nationalities) honestly none in Spanish. We teach our kids sign language because of family and German because I lived there at one time and have German aunt. But we are told we have to teach them Spanish. We are also followers of Christ and teach them Hebrew, yet none of what we teach them is considered a 2nd language that can be used in the work place. Where is that right either. i shouldn't have to learn Spanish either just to understand what my children are learning in school and speaking with their Spanish- English speaking friends in my presents, where is that fair for the parents either. When I lived in Germany in the military we had to learn German. Why should we as Americans have to learn Spanish to live in our own state?

The US granted Amnisty Once before to 3 Million Illegals and it was suppose to be a ONE TIME thing. Now we have between 11 and 20 million more wanting Amnisty. Does anyone truely believe giving Amnisty again will solve the problem? All Amnisty does is Invite More Illegals and Nothing more.

i have a friend that did everything the right way for citizenship. because of the new laws and fights from those who are illegally here. he is being punished in having to start over after 1000's of dollars and lawyers as well as all he was waiting for was his legal social and his citizenship would be done. he never asked the government for help. he pays all his bills paid for his children hospital bills to be born. no government help there either. yet he is getting shafted and he is the right way a person gets it done. he has been paying taxes for years also. where is that fair and why isn't there clauses for those who were doing it the right in the first place based on the laws on the books before all this unfairness stuff was claimed.

just to fing a job..because in your home country there are none.., and you are persecuted..???

Do you think it is when you do not know the language, and you don't know anybody???

But you must leave your home country because there is no chance for you there, and you only want to better yourself, and surport your family..

Why do Americans think that (illegal) immigrants have it easy, and make the choice to leave their country lighttly???

Do not pretend you just want them to come legally because they deserve better..you just want to fool them into leaving and apply the legal way..Like they are so stupid to believe that .Mexicans are very intelligent and they know how long it will take them to come legally..So they are not going to starve in mexico because you feel they should come the legal way..If you really want them to better them self ..Let them come with out papers..Who cares..They deserve to make money just like us Welcome to America!!and i hope you make all the money you want here.I don't care if you have papers or not..you are human like all of us and you deserve the same as us!! So i hope you like it here..and don't listen to does trying to fool you it will take years to come the legal way..You will lose money while waiting for your papers so don't wait...Come today the goverment wont mind!!!!peace

Why don't Mexicans rebuild there own country rather than simply ILLEGALLY entering ours and stealing jobs here. I mean with the number of US factories that have gone South of the border you'd think at some point they could do something in there own country.

I live in Hong Kong (rich) and the richest part of china is across the border from HK. HK uses Senzhen for manufacturing and cheap labour. Illegal workers in HK are sent back to china.
My point- Is the usa stealing cheap labour industries from Mexico, by using illegal-cheap workers?
You would think the richest part of Mexico would be on the border with the states. Yet one of the richest parts of the USA is Southern California.

His visa has been approved but the fine print says something to this effect "a visa does not garuantee entry". I guess my question is specifically does anyone have any experiences to share on this from the middleeast or iran? I am terrified that he will be automatically be labeled a terrorist and denied answers from irani would be more appreciated...also does anyone have any idea on how long does the process takes when he comes through US borders I.E. Customs & Immigration(i assume it depends on each indivual but any feedback would be appreciated)He has the infamous manilla envelope that customs is to only open....What is in that? IS it top secret info? I would think if he was granted a visa from UK he should have no prob. PLz B seriouz

after that our new immigration policies would be to just charge all immigrants a fee at the border. The border crossings would have a "fast food" type menu and all the immigrants can go up and "place an order".Lets say they pay :
$20 for a day to work in the US.And the empolyer would pre-selected and they would also be responsible for returning the immigrant to the border. They would also have to pay par wages.
Lets say citizenship would cost $5000 and the person(s) would have to "order" in English. And they would have to have pre paid for a house and have a job waiting. There could be specials for families, lets say a 2 for 1.They would also have to home school their kids...in English.
Visas would be $200 a year. The employer for these ppl would be pre-selected and in the case the employee became laid off or quit the employer would be responsible fr returning the immigrant. The immigrant would also have to be paid wages equal to what an American would make .

” This year’s illegal-alien demonstrators put forward a novel theory of entitlement: because we are here, we have a right to be here. Protesters in Santa Ana, California, shouted: “We are here and we’re not going anywhere,” reports the Los Angeles Times. Anger at the widespread contempt for American law contained in such defiant assertions drives much of the public hostility toward illegal aliens. Conservatives, with their respect for the rule of law, and appreciation for its fragility, would ordinarily honor this gut reaction, rather than dismissing it as some atavistic tribal impulse. Poverty and other grounds for victim status do not, in the conservative worldview, create a license for lawbreaking.

The rule of law ensures that like cases are treated alike and unlike cases distinguished. But if the immigration protesters have their way, someone who ignored all the procedures for legal entry will achieve the same status and benefits as someone who played by the rules. During the Senate’s immigration debates in the spring, amnesty proponents claimed that it was unfair that people who have worked for American employers be forced to “live in the shadows.” Left out of the equation was the question of justice to people who have waited for years in their own countries for permission to enter lawfully.Schools spend huge sums trying to improve the Hispanic graduation rate, even hiring “outreach consultants” for dropout prevention. One Santa Ana consultant’s approach is predictably multicultural. “We need to teach teachers that students need to be proud of where they are coming from,” she told me. But of course Hispanic school failure derives not from ethnic neglect—the Santa Ana schools glorify the Hispanic heritage to a fault—but from parents who don’t demand rigorous academic application and don’t stand up to corrosive popular influences. At Santa Ana High School, I spoke with a former student, Julio, who had been expelled as a troublemaker in ninth grade, then returned briefly in the tenth grade but didn’t take a single class. “Me and my friends ditched; our parents didn’t know.” It is the cultural capital that immigrants bring with them that most determines their success; the work ethic of poor Mexicans does not carry over to their children’s schooling, and we are all paying the price.Gang life—both Hispanic and black—immediately asserted itself last July when the Los Angeles Unified School District opened a model high school to ease overcrowding. Despite amenities that rival those of private schools—a swimming pool, Mac computers, a ballet studio, a rubber track, and a professional chef’s kitchen—it instantly gained the distinction of being one of the most violent campuses in the system. Shots rang out in front of the school on the second day of classes, reports the Los Angeles Times, and three days after opening ceremonies, police arrested a student with an AK-47 on the campus perimeter. Brawling students attacked safety officers and tried to grab their guns in December, while cops pepper-sprayed a dean breaking up a gang fight in March. Students sell meth in the classrooms, graffiti covers the stairwells, textbooks, and high-design umbrella-covered picnic tables, and a trip to the bathroom requires an adult safety escort.Uncertain assimilation. Multicultural cheerleaders argue that assimilation is proceeding apace by pointing to the fact that virtually all third-generation Hispanics can speak English. Even so, linguistic and cultural segregation among Hispanics is increasing. The percentage of Hispanics living in Hispanic enclaves rose from 39 percent in 1990 to 43 percent in 2000, reports Robert Samuelson, and as more and more aliens from Mexico and Central America enter, the size of Spanish-speaking-only areas expands. Livia, the unmarried mother selling fruit on Santa Ana’s Main Street, says that no one she associates with speaks English. A coffee-shop owner down the block observes that it’s too easy in Santa Ana not to learn English. “It’s all Spanish-speaking here,” she says. In California, the academic achievement gap between students with little English and English speakers is widening. “The Mexican dream is to make enough money to go back and own your own business. Four-fifths of Mexicans here would say that if they had a job in Mexico, they’d go back right away.” Most Mexican immigrants do not intend to become Americans; they come wanting to return to their home country, but end up staying out of inertia. They naturalize at half the rate of Asians or Europeans. This is not a recipe for assimilation.Academic failure. It would be useful for open-borders optimists to spend some time in the Los Angeles Unified School District, which is 73 percent Hispanic, and where just 40 percent of Hispanic students graduate. (Nationwide, 53 percent of Hispanics graduate from high school, according to the Manhattan Institute’s Jay Greene—the lowest rate among all ethnic groups.) Of those Hispanic students who do graduate, just 22 percent have completed the course work necessary for admission to a four-year state college—which means that of all Hispanic students who enter in ninth grade, fewer than 15 percent will graduate ready for college. Immigrant advocates have fiercely opposed in court a long-deferred California high school exit exam, which would require students to answer just over 50 percent of questions testing eighth-grade-level math and ninth-grade-level English. The California Research Bureau predicts that if the exam becomes a reality, Hispanic graduation rates would drop well below 30 percent.A recent Los Angeles Times series on high school dropouts put some faces on the numbers. Eleven male Hispanic friends entered Birmingham High School in Van Nuys together in 2001; only three graduated. Because the boys spent so much time cutting classes—usually hanging out at fast-food restaurants—most failed to log any academic progress and saw no sense in staying enrolled. Drugs, turf rivalries, and fathering children also contributed to their failure to graduate. Birmingham’s teachers despair at their students’ lack of academic commitment and at their belief that seat time should entitle them to a passing grade. Reports Ronald Fryer in Education Next, hostility toward academic achievers is even higher among Hispanics than among blacks.

I know a guy that was brought here illegally when he was 3 years old. His parents came with a tourist visa they stayed and let it expired. Now hes 25 but the last thing you would think is that that guy is illegal, I was shock, he is white (from uruguay, south america, next to Argentina) and he does everything a young american would do. Now if inmigration catch that guy and deport him, dont you think it will be frustrating for him? this country is all he knows since he was little. Hes been through a lot though, he finished high school with very good grades, but he could not go to college because he was illegal, so hes now working. Now tell me what do you think about this case. I mean to me he is american because he behave and act like it, he was raised here and this is everything he knows. I think the US. should give people like that a break, what do you think ?

I dont think so because mexicans had their lands stolen , See annexation of texas.
and american people that dont like the mexican migrant workers that were allowed to come in and work in the united states,The laws were passed in the 1950s.
recently since 9-11 and high security, people are now making a fuss because their are people crossing illegally and want the flow stopped, and I agree we need to control immigration coming in.
The problem is since the land was taken from mexico illegally mexicans know it's their birthright and that their indigenious to the lands,
and it's not fair to kick mexicans off their native lands even if they crossed illegally because the lands were stolen from them illegally.
And all americans came from europe and entered indian lands and set up goverment and comitted ethnic cleansing illegally.
So it's incredibly arrogant of americans to tell mexican natives to leave.
