...Because I was filthy drunk this morning.. (still am)..and chose the wrong winner to one of my stupid questions..

And because I emailed "Askthetoughguy" and promised him my 10pt. question the other day.. when I was drunk again--- I must ask this question to him..or her.. whomever...

Of course you may answer, but I am a man of my word.. And though he really did deserve the 10 pts.. that was given to a "loser," I am forced to forfeit 5 more of my own pts.. for his sake of 10..

Because...unlike some politicians in office, I hold myself accountable, and must keep my promises whether I like it or not for the PEOPLE who trust in me to KEEP our CONSTITUTION in-line.

without an entry clearance to enter to any country is illegal. but gurkhas are living in uk without visa. they have just empty passport, nothing at all. they must hold visa in their passport, like commonwealth citizens do in the british army. why is this happening?

I work in a front office for a medical office where everyone works in an open environment, meaning we aren't in cubicles or individual offices - everyone can hear everyone speak. I'm not at all concerned whether or not they are talking about me per se, but myself and a number of my non-Spanish speaking co-workers thinks that it is extremely rude. I have commented a number of times to them that I think it is rude, but they just smile as if I am kidding.

I think it is really rude and classless - what do others think? If you agree how could this be handled discreetly? I don't want them to think that I am snitching on them to management, but this has to end - it's very irritating.

Think about it people. think about it with a composed mind. Every potential immigrant who comes on an H1 visa leaves behind him/her a country, a home full of related people and fond memories. They leave behind their parents and friends to come to a totally new place to start afresh thinking that USA is actually the greener pasture. After going EXACTLY by the rules and putting in one's heart and soul into working for the betterment of USA one doesn't expect to "vacate" that country after getting established there and spending 6-7 years of his life there. Why are immigration laws discouraging people from comgin to USA. it will not only leave USA with a serious lack of skilled cheap labour but will also discourage the international student community from coming here to invest in studies here. Cuz if a student sees no career prospects he's not too keen on investing a truck load of money into expnsve US colleges and being sent back after putting in 6-7 yrs of hard work for this country. WHY

Don't you get tired of it ? Plain & simply put it comes down to a few things not everyone is going to agree with. Mexico and the U.S. need each other for various reasons and to say otherwise is speaking from an uninformed position. As far as immigrants, Theres nothing wrong with someone wanting to come to the U.S.! As long as it's done the right way(legally) what's the problem ? Do you think other countries should keep you out for being American ? Illegals should go back and follow the proper procedures for coming here. We do have the right and the need to know who is coming across our borders and what they are bringing across. It's that simple! We all have to follow the procedure even though it's unfortunate at times!
What's soo complicated about it that the same arguments keep going back & forth day in & day out ? Do you not get tired of beating your head against the wall ?
