Don't you get tired of it ? Plain & simply put it comes down to a few things not everyone is going to agree with. Mexico and the U.S. need each other for various reasons and to say otherwise is speaking from an uninformed position. As far as immigrants, Theres nothing wrong with someone wanting to come to the U.S.! As long as it's done the right way(legally) what's the problem ? Do you think other countries should keep you out for being American ? Illegals should go back and follow the proper procedures for coming here. We do have the right and the need to know who is coming across our borders and what they are bringing across. It's that simple! We all have to follow the procedure even though it's unfortunate at times!
What's soo complicated about it that the same arguments keep going back & forth day in & day out ? Do you not get tired of beating your head against the wall ?

I see the same tired questions being asked too. The same knuckleheads inciting hate.

I agree, that we need Mexico as much as they need us. No one seems to agree with me though. They all say, **** Mexico....It just shows their ignorance and bigotry.

The only issue I disagree with you is, it is almost close to impossible for most to come here legally. You have to jump through so many hoops, that's why their only choice is to come here illegally. Most don't have the resources and abilities to get a green card or residency. They don't want to break the law anymore then we want them here illegally.

These people risk their lives to come here. I am not saying, OK let everyone in that wants to come. But perhaps, for those who truly want to come here and assimilate into our society, learn the language, etc., we should make it easier for those people to come here.

They would not only be legal residents, we could draw a huge tax base from those immigrants. They fill a need in this country by providing cheap labor and we would collect income taxes. Maybe some may be asked to join the military. We need to create ways for them to earn residency, instead of them sneaking over here and not contributing to the tax base.

What's your question, exactly? This is more about a political opinion than anything. I agree with you on practically every point. Is that what you're looking for?

People keep harping on the foundation of America. It's all well and good--my ancestors were able to take advantage of it--but therein lies the point. It was just a foundation--something upon which to build. It has been many, many decades since America relied upon immigration to fill it's coffers of citizens, workers, and taxpayers. The nation is now and full and self-sustaining country that need to forge ahead and provide an example to the world as to how to use its internal resources to fulfill its needs. The State Department allows for only a certain number of immigrants each year according to a great deal of data surrounding how many the country can realistically absorb. Illegals overstress the system, drain resources, and effectively make it more difficult for people to come legally because the number allowed in has to be adjusted because of these crimes. And it is a crime.

The issue at hand is about jobs. The screaming liberals (I'm liberal, but not so much) insist that the people here should be allowed citizenship because they do work that Americans won't do. The fact is that Americans won't do the work for the wages being offered. Illegals perpetuate their own poverty by driving wages down, which is why no one else wants the job. If they would insist on the federal minimum wages, at the very least, wages would once again rise and Americans would see the benefit in working over taxing the welfare system.

The "guest worker" program proposed by the newly liberal Resident is a major slap in the face to those who have followed the rules and have spent the money necessary to do it according to the law. Allowing citizenship to those who have come here illegally rots the foundation of opportunity promised by the etching on the Statue of Liberty that everyone quotes (but is not part of the Constutuion, and was written by a foreigner).

The best we can do is keep ourselves informed and vote out those politicians who have failed to support America for Americans. As an example, the bill approving a fence along the Texas/Mexico border was approved, but the bill for funding it was not. Your question come election time should not be who voted for the fence, but who voted against the funding.

You need to pass a test to drive a car, but not to vote. That's just sad. If you brought a couple boxes of Cuban cigars over the border the Feds would be all over you like stink on poop. If you brought in a van load of illegal workers... not so much.

Yes I get tired of hearing about it, too.

We tend to keep talking about the same stuff all the time until everybody is sick of it. The good news is.... pretty soon some other issue will take center stage. The bad new is... they will talk THAT to death, too.

The USA is mostly immigrants. None of us has the right to say that other nationalities should not also become immigrants.

But, yes... it should be done legally. This country must enforce laws for citizens AND immigrants. To think any different would be anarchy.

Your right the illegals should go back and do it the right way.
BUT even if they did, it wouldn't Change anything.
America needs to have someone to HATE.
First it was parts of Europe way back when the country first started, then it was The Africans, then the Japanese. NOW it is the Mexicans. Only this time they cant hang them at the gallows or put them in internment camps for pathetic reasons. They can only B***H about it.

Mexicans were here first .. This is their country - They were thrown out as soon as Gold was discovered. California - Texas - Nevada - Colorado - and of course, New Mexico. All of Spanish influence.

Fear of change is why this country doesn't want immigrants coming here. Funny huh? .. a country founded by immigrants can't stand immigrants.

It's okay .. 2050 3 outta every 5 people will be of Hispanic decent. He who laughs last ..

This is not about right and wrong. Of course it would be right for the illegals to go back to the end of the line where they belong. Of course it would be right for us to limit the numbers and types to a quantity that we can absorb without losing our cultural identity. But politicians on the left want lots of uneducated voters that they can easily manipulate while on the right they want below market labor for business to exploit. Naturally they cant say that, so they BS it to death. Only a few politicians have the guts to shoot straight on this, and they deserve a lot of respect when they do.

We can't pay to educate their poor as well as our own just because their rich don't want to pay taxes for universal education. It will always be a better life for their poor as long as they get universal education at our expense, but the numbers are so huge that education is now failing our own children.

You are right, we don't agree. I agree they should come legally, but I believe we need limited immigration to protect our services, not free immigration to feed business's addiction to cheap labor at the expense of American workers and the taxpayers who fund their services.

With a response from idiots like chupa, how do you expect that legal mindset to be in their thought process. They are getting away with breaking the laws and will continue until someone puts a stop to them. I am for all legal immigrants that follow our laws. This border jumping crap has got to stop. I like your question.

The United States doesn't enforce any immigration rules. People come here and they know that we're suckers, and they take advantage because they know that the U.S. won't enforce any immigration laws. If the U.S. starts enforcing its own laws, then people might think twice about coming here and taking advantage!
