Illegal mexicans. It's not the problem that they "TOOK AUR JORBS!" but rather that more people means more jobs (because production needs to increase to support the population) but the one thing that doesn't change? The amount of land! Rents go up, because population goes up! It's simple urban economics people; dismissing the illegal immigrants issue as "unimportant because we have more important things to worry about" is only half right: it's probably not something that should be issue #1, but just dismissing the issue as "an unfair stereotype" is unfair as well...
Then again, the land owners shouldn't complain about illegal aliens. Their property values should be going up! On average anyway.
