I live in Hong Kong (rich) and the richest part of china is across the border from HK. HK uses Senzhen for manufacturing and cheap labour. Illegal workers in HK are sent back to china.
My point- Is the usa stealing cheap labour industries from Mexico, by using illegal-cheap workers?
You would think the richest part of Mexico would be on the border with the states. Yet one of the richest parts of the USA is Southern California.

I think most don't understand.. The USA steals Mexican industry. The crop picking and all those industries they use cheap labour for should all be in mexico.

They could be a productive country if they would stay THERE and work to build THAT country instead of running away and freeloading off the USA. It might take generations to get it going good but that is how the USA got started. Hard working people, voting, making changes, passing laws, enforcing laws and it took many generations to get to where we are now. They won't start on top, WE didn't. It takes time. They need to get started THERE.

It's like when you get out of High School/College, you are not going to get a job at top pay. You have to work, pay your dues, strive to get better, gain experience. It'll pay out in the long run. You can't quit and go somewhere else. You'd just have to start at the bottom again. It takes perseverance

I'd say no -- the immigrants are the ones who couldn't find a decent job in Mexico. Just removing an unproductive person who has to be fed by government soup kitchens helps the Mexican economy slightly, and if they can send money home to feed their family too, it's that much less money the Mexican government can spend on building infrastructure and improving the economy.

I totally agree with Cherokee Rose! The USA is not perfect.
However the legal U.S. citizens have and continue to work our
tails off to make it the best we can. Illegal Mexicans are just useing
us. They don't care about our citizens or the U.S.

no because immigrants would not be able to send money back to their families in Mexico, so it would be devastating to Mexico as a country

The native people would be happy for them to go back to Mexico.
They are nice, decent people but they want to come in and lower our wages, take our jobs, and change our culture.

They might be a lot better off if they would stay and improve their own country! That way, they wouldn't have to come here and ruin ours!
