General lie a lot and the Crocker guy came basically out, that 130,000 troops will stay in Iraq indefinitly. That will cost big time money, about 25% of our taxes for the next 50 so years. Can the US afford that, with a record trade deficit, a collapsing house market, a so so economy and private house hold debt, bigger then in 1929, short before the big Derpression.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was asked and said "The American people don't know the half of it". She also was asked about impeachment as a remedy for illegal conduct by Bush, Cheney and other administration officials and responded "Its not worth it". If the price of inaction is the forfeiture of our constitutional democracy , then the worth of action needs to be reexamined - quickly, and in earnest.* This congress has been saddled with an unenviable task: They are asked, scripted by the nations founding fathers, to undertake a rather monumental stand in defense of the republic.* The constitution is clear.* What will prevail, law or lawlessness?* Law or Lawlessness by Marc Ash> Truthout I Perspective

Government death squads ravaging Baghdad

Sep. 5- Death squads from the Ministry of Interior posing as Iraqi police are killing more people than ever in the capital, emerging evidence shows.

The death toll is high -- in all 1,536 bodies were brought to the Baghdad morgue in September. The health ministry announced last month that it will build two new morgues in Baghdad to take their capacity to 250 bodies a day.

Many fear a government hand in more killings to come. The US military has revealed that the 8th Iraqi Police Unit was responsible for the Oct. 1 kidnapping of 26 Sunni food factory workers in the Amil quarter in southwest Baghdad. The bodies of ten of them were later found in Abu Chir neighborhood in the capital.

Minister for the Interior Jawad al-Bolani announced he is suspending the police unit from official duties, and confining it to base until an investigation is completed.

In china for a second child a family has to pay the local government up to $10,000 dollars. For a third child up to $50,000 dollars. This has led to only families that can afford to properly care for the children to have them. Of course there are exceptions.
In the U.S. we give more money to families with more kids either through taxc breaks or spending money on healthcare and schooling. This has left the taxpayers with less children to pay for the families who want more.

Which is better for the economy, and which system do you think is better overall.
