I got this email:
SOCIAL SECURITY:
Our Senators and Congresswomen do not pay into Social Security and, of course, they do not collect from it.
You see, Social Security benefits were not suitable for persons of their rare elevation in society. They felt they should have a special plan for themselves. So, many years ago they voted in their own benefit plan. In more recent years, no congressperson has felt the need to change it. After all, it is a great plan. For all practical purposes their plan works like this:When they retire, they continue to draw the same pay until they die.Except it may increase from time to time for cost of living adjustments. For example, Senator Byrd and Congressman White and their wives may expect to draw $7,800,000 with their wives drawing $275, 000 during the last years of their lives. This is calculated on an average life span for each of those two Dignitaries. They pay$0 for this plan. OUR TAX DOLLARS AT WORK. Meanwhile the average person SS is $1000 mo.

For the last year and 1/2 the U.S. Government has been establishing draft boards all over the country and they have been testing these draft boards to see that they work properly.

They are all ready for something.

Gee - I wonder what it is...

Please read the following from the beginnig to end.

Bush prepares another September 11 terror act to transform America into dictatorship

A former Reagan official has issued a public warning that the Bush administration is preparing to orchestrate a staged terrorist attack in the United States, transform the country into a dictatorship and launch a war with Iran within a year.

Paul Craig Roberts, a former Assistant Secretary of the Treasury, blasted Thursday a new Executive Order, released July 17, allowing the White House to seize the assets of anyone who interferes with its Iraq policies and giving the government expanded police powers to exercise control in the country.

Roberts, who spoke on the Thom Hartmann radio program, said: "When Bush exercises this authority [under the new Executive Order], there's no check to it. So it really is a form of total, absolute, one-man rule."

I've also seen signs for 'The Year of the City,' which doesn't mean anything.

The Year of the Woman is about yesterdays election results.
Mayor Sheila Dixon and City Council President Stephanie Rawlings Blake, 2 black women, are now in charge of Charm City.

Our individual rights as well as business owners rights are being stripped daily. The Constitution lays it all out there. The Bill of Rights (one in the same I know) allows us to be a free nation. Our Governing body works for the people, paid by the people and most of of all elected by the people, but they vote on a pay raise, they tell what I can and cannot not do.

Nixon once said that he had a secret plan of getting out of Vietnam: Spend 4 more years until he left office.

Is this the same as Bush's plan? Wait 15 months and then declare "Mission Accomplished!"?

Because we all know that both the GOP and Bush have no intention of letting the Democrats get out like they want to.

Does the term 'obstructionist' ring a bell with anyone here?

It's the same tactic the GOP accused the then minority Democrats of doing for the last six years.

How ironic.

In our country, is it your opinion that those with the wealth hold a proportionate amount of power? I don't mean fleeting Hollywood million dollar income, I mean lasting wealth. Wealth like ownership of industries and resources.

If this is the case, that Wealth = Power, do you think that it is a good system, or could it stand to be improved?

No nastyness please, I'm just asking for opinions. Thanks! :)

It's not that I was trying to be disrespectful but I mean things happen for a reason. It's fate.Time to get over it.And try to improve. No matter how hurtful or tragic it is for some.
