GCS please try to be Indian first, then a Congress man! You can not simply absolve the govt for every lapse. Would you feel the same way about the terrors in BJP period about which who guys cry hoarse every time one discusses the terror issue? A failure is a failure and no excuse out of range, on the public or media, would be proper! If common people can detect a person carrying bombs in his document box or bag, do you imagine they would simply be looking on? The movement of criminals is watched by police exclusively, they can locate a suspect more easily than the common brood who are moving about with their errands, while police have the eyes for the suspects only! Whole world knows that your party's govt lacks the right mindset to address the militants, terrorists and secessionists! You would pounce on citizens going to hoist a flag or protest black money but call for talks with people murdering the public and police on daily basis! Such perverse approach of a govt is bound to make the extremist elements dare govt and commit fatal attacks on inncents!

And how exactly did they do that? By handing $86 BILLION dollars out to the families of our 9/11 terrorists? Since that was the prevention tactic I've actually been waiting to see how quickly everyone will attack. Its american money they envy.

I sure am because when another terrorist attack happens in America, and it will, it'll bring this country to it's knees. Absolutely to it's knees. Americans today are too bloody weak and timid to face such an event.

All they need to do is orchestrate an explosion at some shopping mall some place and the entire country will hide behind their doors for months with liberals saying it's Bush's fault and how before he was president there were no terrorists.

What ever. As our enemies are so fond of pointing out America, internally, really is weak and soft.

I am not sure where I stand on this question cause if you look at it like they didn't even bother to prevent the first one and they knew it was coming. Or have they just not attacked us yet, seems to me that they would wait till everything cooled down before striking again. Example is the first trade center bombing. I don't know if they are doing anything different other than infringing on my liberties. There has got to be a better way.

If you look at Fort Dix and other attempts you will notice that it was everyday citizens who stopped the attacks and the govt had nothing to do with it.

Yes, I am very glad the US has prevented future attacks. If weren't for Bush I'm sure we would have had more attacks.

Yes I am, when the U.S. took out Bin Laden and destroyed Al Qaeda I for one was relieved. Now all the victims of 9/11 can rest in peace knowing their deaths have been avenged.

Yes. No matter what I think of the administration they have stopped major attacks in the US. I don't know though how many ATTEMPTS have been made but there haven't been any successful ones so that is good thing.

I am glad so far there haven't been anymore attacks.
I am also afraid it is only a matter of time before something else happens,I hope my feelings are wrong but you can't have your borders open and feel safe.

The lack of an attack does not mean he was successful. It was 8 years between attacks from Al-Queda on US soil. It has been only 6. Don't celebrate yet.
