The current Secretary of the Interior is Dirk Kempthorne, who I do not believe is a Native American, although I cannot confirm this.

Recently the Smithsonian Institution named Kevin Gover, a Native American (Oklahoma Pawnee), as the director of the National Museum of the American Indian in Washington, D.C. Gover was formerly the assistant secretary for Indian Affairs in the Department of the Interior.
