First you start with yourself and your cabinet. Then you have someone introduce bills that would have a stiff penelty and actual jailtime for being caught. Also when you are caught you are fined very hefty. If they were caught taking a bribe of 1 million then you would be fined ten times that. So a ten million fine would stop a lot of it. I would also make sure if someone tries to stop the bills from becoming law, then they need to be exposed for what they are doing. Everyone should know who is against law and order. I believe there should be a panel of people that are impartial who would look at the bills and laws. Also look at the votes and report on the findings. I would also get rid of the people that lobby the politicians. Nobody needs to try to influence congress. If grown people cannot make up their own minds on what is right and wrong then why are they there. I would also get rid of political contributions. All the tv and papers and radio should make equal time for each politician and it should be free. That way all people have a fair shot at running for office. You should not have to be rich to run. I would also make a certain day every month or every two months when the public would vote on the issues and that would also let congress know what we want and what they need to do. I would also make it all public by having cameras in all the offices of public officials except the military or issues of national security. This would make other countries see what we are doing and trust us more. That would lead to a better relationship with the world. There is a lot more I could put down but this gives you an idea of what I would do.

Well, that is a very tough question. When you are working in the government, all the temptation is there. If i am going to be the president of my country, i start with myself. I will not in any way be involve with any graft and corruption. Then i hope that my constituents will see it and eventually follow my lead. President is the model of the country they lead, If from them the people see that they are involve in any of that, then graft and corruption in one country will not be solved.

If you or I become the President, the problem cannot be solved. There should be a public opinion against corruption and it should be so effective that the corrupt would not get entry to any elected position

Expose them, then dispose them. Every newspaper, everyday should have the arguments and the votes of every federal and state official session. Yeah, I know it would be massive, but if you had watchdog groups reviewing and highlighting the controversial items our elected officials would have to tow the line. Put everything out in the open, as far as where our taxes go. They work for us! Make it illegal for law-makers to add piggyback items onto new laws and set limits how often an issue comes to a vote. Crack down on all white collar crimes and make the sentence compare with # of victims. Have the Supreme Court Judges get off their butts waiting for issues to come to them and be more proactive watchdogs of the other legislature branches. whew!

Simple. Veto any bill that has pork, & call a news conference telling the people who added what to the bill & for what purpose. I would'nt vote for someone that wanted "A Bridge To Nowhere" or similar wastes of my hard earned money. If we actually heard about half the crap that goes on, I could almost guarante the number of people re-elected would drop.

Sometimes you can't. unfortunately theres only so much one person can do. If lower echelon officials choose to be corrupt and evade detection, there is really no way for the president to know about it.

You can't. People are imperfect by nature. As long as people are in government, there will be corruption.
