No there is not. This is a failure of democracy. As a result, I do not believe in a democratic system of government. Further, stop trying to impose your democratic values on other countries of the world who do not want anything to do with it.

China is becoming the next super power while the United States goes around alienating the world.

Mike Gravel has been honest through his whole political career and has done great things for the people in Alaska. He was also responsible for getting rid of the draft as well as bring our troops home from Vietnam by reading into the Senate record the Pentagon Papers. If you are looking for honesty I would at least check out his website and his you tube site.

I dont think there are a lot but you will find more of them in the republican party than in the democrat party.
Generally speaking I find that people arent after the truth but rather what they want to hear. If they dont hear what they want to hear it is a lie. A silly example would be a person wanting to hear that the answer to 4+4 is 9 and calling the person who tells them it is 8 that they are lying. That is what an aweful lot of people are like these days and groups like Moveon.org love that because they arent after the truth or real solutions but rather in promoting an ideological agenda regardless of the cnsequences.

To notyou311: John Edwards, honest? You're talking about a man who, in a court room stunt, channels the "spirits" of dead babies during his closing arguments to a jury in order to twist them into delivering an outlandish award in a frivolous malpractice lawsuit. Give me a break.

Seeing all these answers of those who believe the Democrats are honest proves Will Rogers was right: "You can fool some of the people ALL of the time."

Yes, I believe that there are honest politicians. They're just few and far between.
Now, what level politician are you looking for so I can instruct you properly? Governor, senator, maybe Mayor or just School Board.............
Have a good day :>)

No inorder to be a politician you have to master the art of telling lies or to be nice about it you dont tell the entire truth about any subject....They always leave loopholes so they come out smelling like a rose or the hero.
