I would give all older people, living on the minimum state pension, with no savings, an inflation linked increase, to make up for all the years that it hasn't kept pace with average incomes.

Change the voting system to something more proportional, a fully elected second chamber and a promised referendum on a federal UK, that would do for a days work I think.

Put the British people first and ban imported goods manufactured by British companies abroad using slave labour, British goods produced by British people.

Inform the American government that we will have equal trade with them and every other country in the world but we will no longer be dictated to by them.
Outlaw the importation of drugs and impose "Life"imprisonment for anyone dealing in or taking drugs.

First, I would declare war simultaneously on America, Ireland, North Korea, Russia and, just for a laugh, Switzerland.
Then, I would annexe the European Union and announce that they all belong to the UK.
Then I would appoint Jade Goody ambassador to India and instruct her to tell them to f**k off.
Next, I'd make a fundamentalist muslim the Archbishop of Canterbury.
Finally, I would force all tourists to pledge allegiance to the Queen on pain of death.

That should be enough for one day. Next day Gordon Brown could have his job back and I could spend the week in front of the telly watching him getting out of the mess I'd made for him.

I would get out of the North of Ireland and tell the loyalists if they didn't like it they could move to other parts of the UK. Of course, would provide them money to relocate. Fair is fair, eh?

equalizing women's salaries, reduce tuition, stabilize rent, provide immigrants who are qualified (doctors, nurses,etc) free equivilancy exams so we can have DAMN doctors to see, pay mothers the same dollars that would go towards childcare or invest in childcare (have a vote to see what majority of mothers want), I dunno what else...........
