As of 8:31 a.m. CST The following topic on Yahoo web page.
"• Bush budget includes billions more in war funding"

How is it that our political leaders are able to make the money
available to have our young people killed in Iraq but can't reasonably budget to care for kids at home?

The solution in the Middle East lies in Government paid for "Manhatan Atomic Bomb " like Project devoted to developing an energy replacement for oil and then let Middle East countries
settle their own problems.

As the Iraq war has cost us $380,000,000,000 debt dollars so far and Bush wants another $100,000,000 to blow up - I'm thinking, what else could we spend that money on? Any ideas?

The Presidential election is over 2 years away still and everyone seems to be lining up to run. Who is your favorite candidate and what are their strengths and weaknesses? For example here is how I see Rudy and Hillary

Hillary Clinton
Strengths – Name recognition due to her husband. Liberal. One of a handful of women to be President of the USA
Weaknesses – She is very controversial, has no experience running a state or local government. Has not successfully sponsored or co-sponsored any legislation in the senate. Tends to flip flop on issues depending on which way the wind is blowing in the polls. Wants to raise taxes. Several people that used to work with her said that she has an extremely bad temper.

Rudy Giuliani
Strengths – Ran the City of New York, proven leader in time of national crisis for his role in the 9/11 disaster. Not a traditional Republican because he supports abortion and gay rights so he attracts more of a moderate base. Is for lower taxes

Like the money that pays for the president and congress to fly around in plane from party to party. Their cars, money, personal bought crap all of their offices? What is going with the money? Why does a congress person have to have 7 different offices, everyone have to waer the expensive suits, you can do the same job in a pair of jeans. One more thing why are we rubuilding in other countries and helping them when the governement can't fix Lousiana, Katrina etc, and I know it's helpful to other countries but look around, americans are losing their jobs, their kids can't afford to go to college, we can't get good healthcare, and we have a hell of a a lot of homeless people of our own? Someone please explain where our money is going cause it doesn't make sense to me?
