India's Politics
http://www.asianinfo.org/asianinfo/india/politics.htm
A federal republic, the Republic of India integrates the United Kingdom's (as well as other democratic countries, such as the United States) constitutional system and has a constitution which governs it.

The government's power can be divided into three branches: executive, judiciary and parliament. As with the United States, India is comprised of individual states. India's central government has authority over these states and even has the authority to change the boundaries of the states.
*************************************** I don't live in India and if the people from India want it changed then they should do so. I have no reason to offer any political suggestions.....I believe in a democracy...that system seems to fit my country well.
However, if India, were to ask for help from our country to change the system....I 'm not at all sure how we as a nation with similar political systems, could do that . I don't think this country would help to change your system , unless another country tried to overthrow your present system. I found the link below it appears to me that India does have a democratic society.
It also appears to me there is a separation of classes. RICH and POOR or VERY POOR!

I have no problem with the political system of India, but i have the problem with the politicians and the political parties becoz they r working for their self interests only. So I think the moto of all the political parties should be redesigned with respect to the public welfare and a tuff guideline should be there for each and every political party so that it can not break the rules. When the political parties and politicians will be in discipline u will automatically be known that our political system has no problem at all but the root problem is politicians and the parties, breaking the trust of all the citizens.

Our (Indian) political equipment is the perfect - analyze our neighboring usa which frequently ruled through defense force and non secular fans - India isn't so - Congress develop into overthrown through the human beings - likewise BJP develop into overthrown through the human beings - political activities will be defeated - even then democracy stands intense. This proves that the political equipment in India needs no change.
