The constitution makes it very clear about the separation of church and state. This is the agreement that we all agreed to pay taxes for. And be that as it may that God remains in the preamble, but which god is it referring to? We are a nation of many religions and to state that there is only one deity in the preamble is demeaning other religions! What if you’re an atheist? Would you want to recite the preamble when you don’t even believe in the existence of a deity? The preamble should apply to all Americans in the United States and not outcast anyone!

I'm very confused as to what "State" means, or how many different contexts there can be. Consider these :
1. United States of America (or the State of Florida)
2. Secretary of State
3. State of the Union
4. State (in the sense of 'condition')

What am I missing? What other uses are there of this word in US law & system? (From federal to local)

If you had to chose between: socialism, nationalism, idealism, or fascism for you to live in which one would you chose? Becuase I heard that many people would chose socialism but why? i don't really get why anyone would chose that if you get taxed really high.

I really don't think Obama is “the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy”. Other African-American's have been good looking. Some have even been bright. And clean. And articulate. Why does he thing Obama is the first?

Lets be honest Tony Blair is a bit of a joke isn't he ????? Lets see him do something useful in his final days as PM..lets make him juggle ice-cream, go to http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/juggle/...... yesterday a 21 years old guy excecuted by iran goverment(hanging)bc he raped 17 boys (all were 11 or 12) ..but look at our goverment!thts crap..these pigs going to jail for few years and thn come out and back to society and ppl,to destroy our childrns life..
