Annie, you are very wise. I respect you.
The AARP are a bunch of con artists.
They try to pass themselves off as a Senior Citizens Organization.
But, THEY ARE NOTHING BUT AN INSURANCE COMPANY.
They are phonies just like our democrat politicians.
They are hypocrites.
They are Socialists and stopped Bush from saving our Social Security.
They are just pinko commies.

You bet// They just want more & more but pay nothing.i am a senior citizen & am for means testing. Why should a senior who has a retirement that pays them $100,000a year get the same benifit of someone getting $15,000.. They on;y offer Insurance through the Hartford. My insurance company charges me $380 less per year. They are a mouthpiece for the Dems. Take a look who runs AARP. people who are not even seniors.//

Good grief no! They just hate old people, I guess. They helped the Republican Congress pass a poorly written and too complicated bill for Medicare Part D, which is wrong in about every way it could be. It pays for the poor, most of whom had drugs paid for, left a hole for the middle class whereas their drugs wouldn't be paid for, paid for 100% of prescriptions for the wealthy above the "donut hole"(when they used to pay for their own drugs that they could well afford.) Part D requires you to pay $3,600 out of pocket in 2006 before you qualify for "catastrophic" coverage (that's where the government picks up 95 percent of your prescription costs). . And then, just to make sure we completely bankrupt Medicare, they wrote in language to make sure that the government could not negotiate prices(as they do with the VA). The Dems are trying to fix the lst part currently..

Yes they are. They don't believe in the Second Amendment. They would like to see seniors defenseless. I would never join any organization that works to deprive me of my Constitutional Rights.

For some reason when it comes to retired people, they are liberal. What's the big deal? That why they exist.
