If you had to chose between: socialism, nationalism, idealism, or fascism for you to live in which one would you chose? Becuase I heard that many people would chose socialism but why? i don't really get why anyone would chose that if you get taxed really high.

Socialism.

Nationalism is destructive, and not in line with an reasonable person's belief system.

Fascism, I think my objection to that should be obvious.

Why do people view taxation as a primary issue?

Would you rather be highly taxed and free and secure, or lightly taxed and living in a fascist system where you have no freedoms and even moderate disagreement gets you labeled as anti-American?

Of the options given, socialism is the clear winner, unless the person answering is an irrational idealogue.

If you paid half of your income in taxes and got guaranteed housing, job security, and health coverage, would that be such a bad thing??

We Americans rank #1 in the amount we pay for our health care, but less than #25 in the quality of care we receive for it.

Think about that for a little while.

Fascism... more chaos, more looting for me to do with a shotgun in my hands.
