The owners of the political parties are the owners of the US government, and the large corporations and lobbyists own the parties, if only because of the cost of running for election. Until we take back the "free" air waves and make the users pay the fair value of that asset, in part by providing free air time for all political candidates, it will only get worse.

The people are the owners of the government. The people are the members of the parties. If you don't vote however you can claim no ownership, so extrapolated the voters are the owners of the government. Vote Darnit!

No, I think corporate America is. Political parties act in the best interest of business not individuals.

Are you kidding ? NO WAY !

The political parties are just the servants of the wealthy corporations and special interests, who buy congressmen and senators in gross lots (and I do mean gross . ) The parties just differ in how they take the money, and how they tax you and me for the privilege of being the tax spenders ! )
