You've asked two questions.

Question 1: I know the words because I sang it everyday from Kindergarten to Graduation.

Question 2: Are you suggesting that if you don't know the words to the National Anthem you are betraying 'The Freedom Fighters' (all depends on which side of the gun barrel you're on)??? Not a chance.

I think the question shouldn't be that how many remember National Anthem. I'm sure that answer to that will be yes by everyone mostly. But the real question is that how many know the meaning of words that they are singing.

Do you know the meaning of the song and can you speak the language?. Ability to sing NA is not the proof of your love for the nation. In fact Godse knew it very well and you know whom he killed.

its not always right to believe that we Indians are no more Indians. i mean to say that this question itself states that we our-self don't believe our own people. yes i do believe in the true spirit of India and i proudly say that i remember each and every word of our National Anthem.

I know the Australian one. And we didn't even have to sing it every day. I thought everyone would know their own countries anthem? Its a pride thing!!!

It would be better if its meaning is understood by common people and should not resemble thousands of un-understood hymns being chanted in some societies.
