Looooooaaaaaaads of people in Britain protested against the war in Iraq, but did anyone listen? What kind of a demoracy is this that thousands and thousands of people lose to a minority of people (eg blair). Does our point of view not matter?

And do we really have equal freedom to everyone else?

Think about it...

The V-Day card I bought for my bf says "Extra Postage Required" where the stamp would go on the envelope. But exactly HOW MUCH extra postage do they mean? I have 37 cent and 2 cent stamps (to make the normal 39 cent postage). Should I just put two of each? Although 78 cents sounds like too much, and I don't know if I can put 4 stamps on there. It's not an extraordinarily large envelope or anything, it's only 6.5" X 9.5", and it's not a real heavy card.

What do you normally do when you need extra postage? Does anyone out there work at a post office and know for sure?

Should I put two 37 cent stamps (even though normal postage is 39) or do I actually need 4 stamps to make two sets of 39s?

This might sound like a dumb question, but I haven't send a card via snail mail in a loooong time (I use e-cards and e-mail for everything) but I thought it would be nice to send a regular card this time.

Thanks!

Washington times reported that in 1983, Ted Kennedy conspired with the KGB and the Soviet Union to bring down the President of the United States. A former KGB agent releasing documents.

Should the Senate investigate this matter?

If true, and proven, should Ted Kennedy be impeached?

After filling out a "change of address" form at the US Post Office, I seem to recall that most of my junk mail (catalogues) and some of my magazine subscriptions permanently and correctly updated my subscription address without me having to contact each individual company.

Am I mistaken that the post office notifies these senders of my address change and that some companies use that information to update the address of my subscription?

The US Secret Service Uniformed division is assigned to guard the white house, vice presidents residence, etc. (As opposed to the special agents who are the actual bodyguards/counterfeit investigators) Is their jurisdiction just their post, Washington DC, or the whole US?

Although I am not intending this to be anti labour political,- but how can Blair and Brown sleep at night knowing what they have done to this once great country. In the past we had the a top class motor industry, top class National Health, a top class Royal Navy, Military and Air force all of which have been decimated.
How many Billions of pounds have the PAIR cost us chasing the ' Weapons of Mass Destruction ' : how many young lives etc etc.
Please, please, please can someone remind us of some possible good either of the pair have done for the UK . . . . or even the world. I can not now recall all the promises the pair made to get elected but I sincerely hope someone can reveal any honest good the pair may have done for the United Knigdom. At the moment Gordon is letting Tony take all the blame but surely it is in their case a shared responsibility.

Have they ever acted on one of your suggestions?

Has a change of political party (if they are acting under one) made a difference?

List these four in order starting with the most powerful, then if you like explain why.
This is my order:

Media
Judicial
President
Congress

Media whether or not they care to admit it is biased one way or the other and will sway the country to one way or the other. Case in point, the survey they always liked to put out: Are you happy with the direction that the country is going? And of course you are going to get 80% to 90% unsatistfied because the conservatives are unhappy about immigration or gay marriage or something, then of course in addition you have the left who have hated republican control of both houses and the presidency. The way they made this poll appear though when the presented it, is that 80% to 90% hated Bush and the then conservative congress.
I'm not saying that Bush didn't dig his own grave (politically), but the media certainly did have his grave plot reserved.

Judges- Unaccountable to anyone. Do as they please, what they feel and say goes.
