Actually the Chineese have. Their recent economic boom is due to their establishing "Special Economic Zones" These are regions where capitalism flourishes. Non residents are not allowed in without proper papers.

perhaps if USA and the western powers stop strangling their economy's and give it a chance to work things might be diffrent!

I think the masses know already it's a failure. Unfortunately, it's the Leftists in Venezuela who have the guns and the airwaves. Same thing in Cuba. It's a shame!

Historically speaking dictatorships always strangle free will, free enterprise is restricted as you have so eloquently put it, religion is aboilished and the state becomes god. No Thank You! We have too many control freaks as it is! No to Communism and socialism! Give a person a fish ad they will thank you, teach them how to fish and they will thrive!
