I'm comparing Bush, one of our least popular presidents in American history, with Teddy Roosevelt, one of our MOST popular presidents in American history. Given that both presidents have rather forceful foreign policies and have no qualms about throwing their political girth around no matter what the public thinks, is Bush just really in the right place, but just in the wrong time? I'm imagining both presidents switching time periods, and Bush is doing a wonderful job while Roosevelt is getting lynched by an angry mob of American civilians. :P
