Not really. They allow Neo Nazi groups to march through street with police protection. Free speech go pretty far in this country. Kind of ironic Alex Jones complaining loss of free speech though. I think he does have mental condition. Heard lot of weird stories about him yelling screaming at DMV or other places and getting arrested over nothing. If someone ever sue Alex Jones I bet you his lawyer will push insanity defense.

Could Saddam Hussein have sued Bush for claiming he had WMD's? Or can Iran sue Cheney for claiming they're supporting terrorism? Can Lebonon sue the US for supplying Israel with weapons? Can Fox News be sued for claiming it's a news a station? Can democrats sue the White House for saying they hate America and want it to be attacked? Talk about Bull!!
Legally, the answer is no to all the questions including yours unless you can prove that the person is knowingly lying which is very difficult to prove. If it were that easy Bill O'reilly would have been off the air years ago.

If he did sue it would open the door for alot of truth to come out in a big way. Besides, your question implies that these are just a few wackos out on the fringe. I have been looking into these groups and I have found that while some of the stuff is a little hard to believe(like the GHW Bush connection to the JFK assasination), there are way too many groups and very reputable sources out there asking for truth to who is actually behind 911. Don't trust popular opinion for your devotion to Bush. I voted for him and if it were between Bush and Kerry again I would still vote for Bush(even though the vote is probably rigged). Using any search engine out there search for "911 truth" and you will find way too much evidence and coincidence for any reasonably minded person who is honest with themselves to come to any other conclusion than there is way more behind 911 than what the offical report says.
Should we be skeptical about Bush or any other highly placed elected offical?
Yes, check it out for yourself, we are only a very few executive orders from a president with the right international bankers behind him to turn your "democracy" into a socialist state.

Sure he could, but what would be the point?
All it would do is give the conspiracy theory nutjobs a stage and a spotlight from which to preach more of their ludicrous and inane ideas.
Besides, winning a case like that would be next to impossible - what the conspiracy nutjobs are saying is nothing more than their opinion, and they're entitled to that.
Anyone can sue over anything - WINNING is another matter entirely.
Besides, when you get involved in politics, you have to expect this kind of thing. Personally, I think it takes a bigger man to just ignore the little pissants and gnats buzzing around you rather than take action against them.

I guess that Bush can do just about anything that he wants to do.
Bush has given no reason for anyone to believe that he was not behind the attacks. Since most people in this country believe that he was involved, and since it is fact that his father protected Bin Laden's family, during, and after the attacks...the conspiracies don't sound so crazy.

For the same reason that Clinton, Hillary, Gore can't sue for slander. It's to be expected in politics. And, maybe he hasn't fought that hard because it's true, ever think of that?

See, if Bush sues, then he's going to need to prove that he's not a conspirator, but just an incompetent boob. He doesn't win either way.

Difficult one for Bush. He would have to prove that it was real and that would be impossible in a court of law at this time. He will lose

I dont think that he can sue. I think unfortunately that he knows that comes with the job. Also, his legal advisor's would probely not advise it, considering we have the right in this country to disagree, pubically against the government....right or wrong....
