Because Halliburton and others get to make a lot of money, and our oil is under their sand.
Ummm Roger, there wasn't a single Iraqi involved in 9/11. The perpetrators were a bunch of crazy fanatics, most of whom happened to be Saudi.
Saddam Hussein may have been an a**hole but he was minding his own business when the towers went down.
I even supported going to Afganistan TO CATCH BIN LADEN who supposedly masterminded this. Apparently we have forgotten all about him.
I can't understand how people still believe this crap...
Now we've spent $400 billion, thousands of our young people have been killed and maimed, not to mention tens of thousands of innocent Iraqis. And all we've got to show for it is MORE TERRORISTS.
Now our fearless leaders are talking about attacking Iran because it's rumored they have nuclear technology, we're not even sure if they are going to use it for power or bombs. Meanwhile the U.S. has enough nukes to blow up the entire solar system, but the Iranians can't even have nuclear power??
We know for sure that N. Korea HAS NUKES, as in BOMBS, but are we crazy enough to go after Kimmy boy? Nope, we leave him alone. He might actually USE his nukes. Besides, he doesn't have any oil...
Wake up and smell the B.S. folks!

With great privilidge and power comes great responsibility. If we don't stop madmen that kill their own people and completely use their power for self interest at the expense of their country. Who will? These people will not stop and will expand their reign if left unchecked. The will got away with exactly what they can.....remember the 6 day war in the middle east? Remember why we went to the first gulf war? SO many wars because of middle eastern dictators.....it has to stop.

According the Bush administration, it's because they have WMD's, I mean Saddam was responsible for 9/11, scratch that, we're liberating the Iraqi people...yeah that's it. Either that or the Bush administration seeks to profit from our occupation in Iraq. Remember, he's a war president. He makes decisions in the oval office with war on his mind.

It's Bush's war. I read this below-
With great privilidge and power comes great responsibility. If we don't stop madmen that kill their own people and completely use their power for self interest at the expense of their country. Who will?
If this is true, why haven't we invaded Sudan yet? They don't have any OIL. Do your homework. By the way, the radical that created 9/11- Bin Laden- why has he been let off the hook? OIL

good question here are a few more that might help explain. why do we use hard earned tax money to help those that don't work? why do we feel like we have to support those that dont want to support themselves? why do we pay more for hospitals so others can use them for free? why do we allow illegal people to come and work and have babies at our cost so they cant be deported then? why why why?
